Yes, it does. We actually installed the Curt Hitch item # C96CR on a 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 and found from the ground to the top of the receiver tube is 20". That was on a base model Silverado with the factory wheels and tires so there may be some discrepancy if you've got a different package on your Silverado.

The Curt Hitch item # C96CR is custom fit for the 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500. It includes all hardware necessary to complete the installation. This is a class V hitch with a 2-1/2" receiver, that has a 20,000 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 2,700 lbs.

What kind of trailer are you pulling?

I'm pulling a 28' enclosed car trailer. Combined weight of trailer, car, and other contents is approximately 14,000 lbs. I'm just looking to upgrade the factory receiver for piece of mind, but I don't want to have to purchase new ball mounts, because the new receiver sits too much lower to achieve a level trailer ride.
