I just got a new 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 without the factory hitch. I want to add the highest capacity one possible. What do you recommend?

We've got two options for high capacity hitches that will fit your 2024 GMC Sierra 2500. The difference in the two is the size of the receiver and their capacities. I have listed them below:

2" Class V - Curt Hitch item # C36CR. This hitch has a 17,000 lbs towing capacity and a 2,550 lbs maximum tongue weight.

2-1/2" Class V - Curt Hitch item # C96CR. This hitch has a 20,000 lbs towing capacity and a 2,700 lbs maximum tongue weight.
