Question:

I need the highest capacity 2-1/2" hitch you have for a 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500. I upgraded to a new truck and the factory hitch isn't strong enough.

Congrats on the new truck! Our highest capacity bumper hitch for a 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 is the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C96CR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Silverado with included hardware. You will need to remove the factory hitch if your truck came with it from the factory.

This is a class V hitch with a 2-1/2" receiver. It has a 20,000 lbs towing capacity and a 2,700 lbs maximum tongue weight. This hitch can be used with a weight distribution system but it will not increase either capacity.
