• Do You Have Dimensional Drawings For Curt or Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receivers 2023 Subaru Solterra?
  While we do carry both the Curt 13544 # C92NR and Draw-Tite 76638 # DT46PR trailer hitch receivers for your 2023 Subaru Solterra we do not have any dimensional drawings for either. These are not given out as it would allow someone to just simply have a receiver fabricated themselves off of the drawing. If I had to recommend one over the other it would be the Curt. I have linked the install instructions for both these below and the Curt looks like a cleaner installation.

The 2" Curt Rack Receiver # C92NR that you purchased unfortunately isn't a fit for your 2013 Toyota Prius v (it fits a 2023 - 2024 Toyota BZ4X OR 2023 - 2024 Subaru Solterra) but if you really want that 2" hitch receiver you'll need to go with the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7192. This sits about 13-3/4" from ground to the top inside of the receiver so with the rise of the Yakima OnRamp Y36FR I'm confident you'll be just fine on clearance....

• Comparing Curt and Draw Tite Hitch for 2023 Toyota BZ4X
  Hey Eliot, so if towing is on the table then I would go with the Draw Tite # DT46PR but if not I would go with the Curt # C92NR since it has better ground clearance by about an inch. The Curt does sit up tighter to the rear bumper like you noticed. What do you plan on doing with the hitch?

  Hey Jason, The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH97CR weighs 40lbs and the Curt Rack Receiver # C92NR weighs approximately 30lbs. The3 Curt is rated only for carrying hitch mounted accessories and isn't rated for towing a trailer. Regardless of higher weight I recommend going with the EcoHitch to always have the ability to tow a trailer.

  I pulled up the owners manual online to try and verify the kick open needing to be disabled and was not able to locate that specifically. But I was able to find that the kick sensor is located behind the lower, center part of the rear bumper. This would make sense for the kick sensor to be disabled because that is exactly where the receiver of the Curt Rack Receiver # C92NR will sit. Which will block your kick sensor and cause it to not function. My guess would be that Toyota wants the...

• Will The Hands Free Lift Gate Work On 2023 Toyota BZ4X With Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver?
  While we have not had a 2023 Toyota BZ4X in our shop to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C92NR, it does not appear it would prevent the operation of the foot activated liftgate sensor. Since the main cross tube sits behind the bumper cover and is hidden the 2" opening portion would be the only portion of the receiver blocking the sensor. While this may limit the area where you can kick your foot it is more than likely not going to eliminate the use of the sensor in my experience....

  Yes, it will! I checked with Curt and their item # C92NR hitch is confirmed to work with all models of the 2023 Toyota BZ4X including the Limited model. You will lose the sensor around the 2" receiver but you won't want to be kicking by it anyways. You'll need to move to the left or right.

  The Curt Rack Receiver # C92NR for your 2023 Toyota BZ4X can be used for any accessory with a 1-1/4" shank so long as the accessory and its contents don't weigh more than 200 lbs, as that is the tongue weight capacity of the hitch. That said, realistically, it'll be difficult to find a lift (with a 1-1/4" shank) and mobility scooter with such a low weight. But technically, yes, it is possible.
