Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with a 4-pole flat trailer connector. Folks, this is gonna be a custom fit application, which simply means it's only gonna be made for a certain year, makes, and models. To verify if this fits your vehicle, I want you to go to our homepage, etrailer.com, click where it says my vehicle information, and enter things such as year, make, and model, vehicle style, sub-models, things like that. Make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Now, because this is a custom fit, there's no cutting or splicing for the install.
It's simply plugging in these T-connectors here into the receptacle behind your taillight on your vehicle. And you can find that information in the included instructions. You're gonna get a dust connector for the 4-pole connector once you've got the installation complete. You've got the power converter here, this black box here, that's gonna be for safety. And I always tell people it's like the brains of the whole system.
So it's gonna be monitoring input and output of electrical data, and it's gonna make sure you're getting the right amps, wattage, and everything, going back and forth between the taillights on the trailer, and then also, the vehicle wiring as well. As you can see, you got inline fuse holder here. You've also got a long length of wire. That black wire is gonna connect to this black wire, and it'll ran all the way to the battery. And you're gonna use that to power that unit.
So there are included buck connectors, self-tapping screws, and the inline fuse for that apparatus, and of course, cable ties. And that's gonna keep your installation nice and clean and everything together once you're done with the install, keep everything looking nice and factory.
