Recommended Hitch for a 2026 Toyota bZ w/out the Kick Sensor

Question:
Iam looking at buying a 2026 Toyota BZ or 2026 Lexus RZ350e and wanted to know if there are any 2” hitch options. Not looking for towing, but for hauling couple of bikes on a robust hitch carrier.

Hey Mohan. To add a hitch to a 2026 Toyota bZ, you'll need the Curt item # C92NR. This hitch has a 2" receiver with a 200 lbs tongue weight capacity. It's not rated for towing so that's great you only need it for a bike rack. I do highly recommend verifying when you purchase your bZ what the actual tongue weight capacity of that car is. Just because the hitch is rated for 200 lbs doesn't mean the vehicle is and you'll need to go off of whatever number is lower.
Please note that the Curt item # C92NR will not fit the 2026 Toyota bZ models that have the kick sensor.
Unfortunately there is no hitch available for for a 2026 Lexus RZ350e as of 05/30/2026. I have no way of knowing when or if an aftermarket hitch will become available.

I had a 2023 BZ4X. I used the same C92NR hitch receiver. I did have to remove the kick sensor. I now have a 2026 BZ. Can I do the same: remove the kick sensor and install the hitch receiver? The frame location is similar, right?

I don’t know the max weight the bz4x will hold. But I have put around 120lbs on mine and has done fine
