Question:
I have a 2006 dodge ram 2500 with the factory bumper and hitch replaced with a ranchhand bumper. I would like to know if the c15704 will fit on my truck with the ranchhand bumper.

If the ranch hand bumper is the same thing as a cowboy bumper or deep drop bumper then none of the hitches for the 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 are confirmed to fit because they are not tested on truck models with alternate bumpers. You would have to put the old bumper back on.
If the factory hitch is the one welded to the frame then you would need # C15809 if you did install the factory bumper. This hitch fits below the factory hitch. I have linked instructions and a video showing installation for you to view.
