This hitch gives you serious utility for everyday hauling. If you like doing things yourself, this hitch is made for it. It’s a complete bolt-on setup that attaches directly to the frame—no welding needed. The installation hardware and instructions come in the box, so all you need are basic tools and a little driveway space to get it done. The custom-fit design lines up with factory holes for straightforward alignment and a clean finish once mounted.
The concealed cross tube keeps most of the hitch tucked under the bumper for a clean, factory-style appearance. Only the receiver tube is visible, so you get full towing functionality without a bulky look hanging off the back of your vehicle. It’s all business when you need to tow, and barely noticeable when you don’t.

Sometimes when trailer hitch receivers are shipped, they can be flexed, this is because they are designed to flex with your vehicle once it is installed. I am attaching an article telling you how you can correct the flex of your trailer hitch receiver.

Arrived in great condition. Haven't got it on yet but instructions are straight forward and easy to follow.
THE TOW PACKAGE IS WELL MADE AND COATED. The Tracking service was rather unique and delivery was super fast. I would definitely recommend these guys you won't be disappointed.

The hitch came in right on time and worked perfectly! I have used etrailer.com before and I have been impressed with how professional they are and how well their products fit every model of vehicle. The trailer light kit was very easy to install as well. I will be using them again.
etrailer is great. The Curt trailer hitch is great. 1995 GMC van tolerances not so great. 6 of the 8 bolt holes lined up. The other two required me to elongate the holes in the hitch. Based on the comments others have also had this problem. The hitch should probably be fabricated with these holes elongated. Make sure you have a die grinder handy.
I was pleased by the quality of the hitch. I was skeptical about fishing the bolt and plate thru holes in the frame but with the included fish wire, it went pretty well. My 1990 G20 needed no drilling and I am very happy with the hitch. Customers will need to take note of bolts and washers they need to purchase separately but that probably helped keep the price down.
Hitch installed with little trouble
Worked perfect
Harder than expected to install due to rusty carriage bolts on the bumper, but that has nothing to do with the hitch. Also kit only came with two 1/2" bolts to fish through and drop into the van frame. It did not come with the other four 1/2" bolts that attach into threads already in the frame. I suppose they assume your going to reuse the grade 5 bolts that were already there, but I replaced them with new grade 8 bolts. So other than an unexpected trip to the hardware store and having to order 2 new stainless carriage bumper bolts, it's a very nice, heavy hitch. Seems to be very high quality.
It did come with some light scratches and scuffs, but not all the way through the paint, and unless your going to crawl under the van no one will ever see them, so it didn't really matter to me.
Perfect fitment. Super easy to install if you are slightly mechanically inclined. Comes with all the hardware you’d need.
