Install went well- not too difficult. Hitch assembly more visible than would like however is functional. Not of "hidden" variety. Thanks again Etrailer!
the trick is finding the correct wire for the left blinker, I used a test light, but it did cost me a 10 amp fuse....lol.. the left blinker harness in the trunk has about 20 plus wires, not bad overall....Patience is the trick..

I purchased this trailer hitch for my 2020 Chevrolet Impala. They said the Car is rated for 350lb tongue weight,
and 3500 lb tow capacity (same specs as the Trailer hitch).Watched a couple [online] videos before tackling the install. Backed the car up on car ramps and got started. Install was not difficult at all. I've used the hitch for pulling a small utility trailer, a bike rack for my bikes and even a 6'x12' V nose enclosed trailer. I definitely recommend this Trailer hitch.
The hitch receiver itself is fine and bolted on fairly easily once I deciphered the somewhat unclear instructions. I found the directions somewhat lacking and they contained some incorrect hardware sizes. (referenced 8mm bolts that needed to be removed on the exhaust hanger when in fact they were 13mm.)
I found video on (online) much more helpful than the pictures in the included directions.
I've had nothing but positive experiences with E-Trailer on previous purchases so on my new car I kept my business where it deserved to stay, shopping around locally I found eTrailer was actually the cheapest for the same hitch that others in my area wanted $300 for. Install was extremely simple, muffler would need to be lowered but luckily for my the factory mufflers were removed and replaced with flowmasters making install extremely simple, easy to install at home, will need an extra pair of hands to hold the hitch up till its bolted then smooth sailing, I installed this to tow my Jet Ski and already used it and didn't let me down. Highly recommended.
Product arrived seemed promising watched all the install videos the issue came when installing it myself. I was installing on a Chevy Malibu 2015. The clearance for the exhaust is terrible. You will either have to replace the exhaust hanger to account for sag from being a few years old. After getting install there was still a rattle from the rear exhaust hanger touching. Wrapping a rubber hose around the hanger easily fixed this but still annoying. I have not actually used the hitch yet but as other stated it hangs pretty low. I’ll update the review after a couple uses.
Fit great! My car is 10 years old so I needed to run a tap through the open non-existing dual exhaust hole. Keep the bolts loose while you fit it all in place and good to go.
I can't say enough good things about the experience with etrailer or the product they sold me. I got the best price and free shipping within 5 days from order date (MO to SC). They even fortified the box where pressure points would be in shipping to ensure a safe and quality product was delivered. Curt makes a great product and I hope to use both etrailer and Curt in the future.
the only recommendation I will make is, if they ask what vehicle this hitch will be installed on so they are not wasting shipping weight and steel on sending two brackets for different installations when connecting to the suspension mount.
This worked great on my 2018 Impala LT and the installation instructions were pretty clear as to which bracket to use for my installation .
I also bought the MAXTOW 1.25 to 2 inch adapter with a 4.5 inch rise for my accessory (Cargo Basket). While the actual tongue weight drops to about 100 pounds (factoring in the weight of the adapter, cargo basket and extension-physics) I only intend to store bulky light weight items on the basket and free up space in the trunk for beach trips!
In a little less than 1 hour we were finished with the install, approx. 5 min. was used to unpack the hitch. Once the muffler was removed it was very easy to install the rear bolts but make sure you replace the muffler before securing the back of the hitch to the frame.
The trailer hitch will be used to carry our bikes to various trails and to the beach.
My item was ordered and received in two days. KUDOS for the team that made it happen. It was just in time to have it ready for our weekend trip.
The installation was a breeze even though I didn't have a car lift at my disposal it still only took my son and myself an hour to install it.

I installed this receiver on my new 2019 Impala to keep from putting gas cans in my new trunk, the installation was simple and works great . Just what I needed and would recommend it to others.
What sold me is that that your product is made in USA and had a 50 lb greater weight limit compared to other receivers on the market. Everything fit perfect.
Excellent rack, the directions are pretty poor, but the etrailer videos makes up for that. Installed easily and works great with my Kuat rack.
I went together well. Fit and finish are good.

Purchased this for my 2017 Regal and had a local mechanic install it for me. Probably could have done it myself, but was not so inclined. Has worked out just fine, no complaints. I use the hitch for my Thule bike rack.

Still nothing to complain about. I have used this for long distance transport of heavy ebike and rack and it has held up without any issues.
Good product that fit my car without much fuss. Glad I bought it to pull small trailer for mower or few supplies.
The receiver is a perfect fit and install was quick and easy (even without a helper). Hardware and install instructions are exactly as described. We can now easily take our bicycles to some cool new places to ride.
Very well built. Instructions are easy to read and follow. It only took about a hour to install which is pretty good considering I am 72 years old & did it by myself. My only objection is the box says made in U.S.A. but the parts say made in China!!! That's why no 5 stars.
THE PRODUCT IS ON THE MONEY.AND REAL FAST DELIVEREY ..THEN HAD IT INSTALLED FOR 50.00..FOR AROUND $ 200 WITH A GREAT PRODUCT..WHEN OTHERS WANTED TO SELL ME A CHEAPER HITCH WITH INSTALL FOR 375.00
This hitch is very nice and heavy duty. Installation was easy and I did it by myself. But a helper would have made it even easier. The wiring was easy as well. Only hard part of the hole installation was getting the black cable through the fire wall and ev ed n that was not to bad. Just attach the end to a hanger with electrical tape and carefully push through rubber grommet. And the fact that there's no drilling is a plus. The cheapest local shop wanted almost $400.00 installed, I saved around $200.00 , love it. Thank you etrailer. My go to place for all of my trailer needs.

Great, working as it should.
This will make a good hitch for a bike rack or light towing but I would not use to tow a large trailer. Attachment points are to sheet metal that holds up the exhaust system and to a frame attachement for the rear suspention. These are not very beefy and would be concerned about damaging the car, but great for a couple of bikes

That was for a Buick Lacrosse which I do not have anymore but I was happy with the hitch
