We have a few hitches that are designed to fit your 2014 Buick Lacrosse.
I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 36538. This is a Class ll hitch and has a 1-1/4 receiver opening.
The Curt Receiver Hitch, part # C12115 is also a Class ll hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. A tech tip states that all non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth - should be supported with stabilizing straps like part # 18050. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from Curt.
If you plan on towing you can check out the attached helpful article that explains how to choose the correct ball mount. You can then check out the attached product page for the ball mounts we offer.
For hitch balls I recommend part # A-80 for a 1-7/8 inch ball and for a 2 inch ball I recommend part # A-82.
If you need trailer wiring at the back of your Lacrosse I recommend the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, part # 118497. This plugs into the connection points behind the tail lights and after running a hot lead to the car battery gives you a 4-way connector at the rear of the vehicle. I have attached a link to an installation video for this wiring harness.
I have also attached a couple of links to other items that can be used with the hitch. If there is a specific item you are interested in and have more questions, let me know and I will make some recommendations that will work for you.
You will want to check your owner's manual or with your dealership to make certain you do not exceed the towing weight capacity or the tongue weight capacity for your Lacrosse.
