Hi, everyone, Steven here with the etrailer. Today we're taking a look at a 48-inch-long Side Door Bar Lock Assembly. So, folks, this is a cam door-style lock and latch. It's gonna be ideal for those smaller trailer side doors. And as you probably already know, you simply move the handle to open and close by twisting, and then the included latch can spin up and then you can close it and you can put your own lock in there to then lock the door. The rod's got hinges on both sides.
And then again, once you have everything mounted, obviously it's not gonna spin too easy right now 'cause it's not mounted, but this hinge will spin, allowing you to open and close those side doors on those trailers. Now, this is precisely placed at 24 inches from each end, so it's right in the middle of that 48-inch bar. The handle, I got 13 3/8 inches long overall on a length from end to end by 1 1/4 inches wide. So, that's gonna give you a nice, easy, firm grip, and again, you could then move it to open and close and then lock it back as needed. So, there's no mounting hardware included, but it is ready for your custom installation setup, whether you decide to weld it in place, bolt it in place, whatnot, it's totally up to you.
Folks, that's gonna wrap up our quick look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
