Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Taylor Made marine gas strut for boat hatches. Now this is going to replace one worn or damaged ball and socket gas strut from your boat's hatch lid or compartment door, and this is going to extend to ease the lifting of your hatch lid and then compress to gently close your hatch without slamming. Now, this does have a 10-millimeter ball and socket installation, so you're just gonna simply attach each end to the ball studs on the inside of your boat's hatch. The annealed steel with the corrosion-resistant coating is going to be great for salt water environments. Lemme go ahead and lay this back down here on my table and see if I can show you what the length is, measuring center of socket to center of socket.
So we're sitting right at about 26 3/8 inches, center to center, and this has a compression force of 20 pounds, and you are going to receive this one strut.
