Today we're going to be taking a look at part number CAM44074. This is the Camco RV refrigerator double-bar. The double-bar is going to help keep the contents of your refrigerator from sliding as you travel. Two bars are going to provide a good barrier for short and tall item. They're going to be spring loaded, here on the sides. That way they can easily install, and insure a nice tight fit.
The rubber ends are going to provide plenty of grip to the refrigerator walls. Another neat thing about this is that you can easily move the bars from one shelf to the next. These bars will extend from 19 inches to 34 inches. You just simply . They're on a threaded spring. You can turn it one direction to extend it out.
Again, that will extend all the way to 34 inches, overall length from end to end. Then you can retract it as well by turning it the other direction. With it fully retracted, we're going to have an overall length of 19 inches. With it fully extended, that's going to give us the overall length of 34 inches. What you want to do when installing these, is you want to have this extended about a quarter of an inch pass the actual area that it's going to sit between. Then, compress it, slide it in, and then release it.
It's going to extend a little bit out, about a quarter of an inch, kind of leeway or freedom that you gave it to provide that nice tight grip that we're looking for. It's got some supports right here to make sure that it remains sturdy. It's going to white in color. That's going to do it for today's look at part number CAM44074.

I'll rate it highly even though I haven't used it yet due to construction.
The plastic you see in the pic is supported by a cross piece that holds it from the bottom side of the shelf. A wing nut holds the cross piece, and the screw is in a slot that allows for even more adjustment.
I'm very optimistic.
These are rather poorly made. 2 were just OK, one was stripped inside where the spring was supposed to adjust. It destroyed itself while trying to adjust it.
I have bought quite a bit from you folks and will continue to. You have a fantastic selection, dandy tutorials on the product use/installation and super shipping.

We purchased the RV refrigerator double bars and could not be happier. These are truly spill savers. They hold items in place and can be moved up or down to allow for different items heights. We also purchased the single bars also. thank you etrailer.com
These are called refrigerator bars but I use the brown ones in our pantry. These bars are excellent for keeping items in place in our RV. We really like the ability to adjust them to different heights. They are easy to adjust, allow the doors to close and stay in place. We will be purchasing more from etrailer.com
After our first trip in our new camper we found that the items in our refrigerator and cabinets were scattered about. With the combination of these bars and some bins for the fridge we had no shifting at all. Thank you!

This was a double bar for a residential refrigerator which is wider than a standard rv refrigerator...fit fine and does a great job

If you have RV'd for any amount of time then you know how important tension rods are for the refrigerator. We always buy Camco because they seem well made and last a long time. We needed longer ones because we replaced our side-by-side refrigerator with a French Door refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. Our old rods were way too short.
