Features to know about

Built for Heavy Loads: 30,000 lbs GTW and 7,500 lbs Vertical Load

This Curt overbed gooseneck hitch is made for serious towing. It’s rated for a gross towing weight of 30,000 lbs and a vertical load limit of 7,500 lbs, giving you the muscle to move heavy livestock, dump, or equipment trailers with confidence. The steel hitch ball is sturdy and durable, locking solidly in place with its stainless steel safety pin and pivot spring to prevent binding under pressure.

Full Bed Access When You’re Not Towing: Folding Ball Design

When you’re done towing, fold the 2-5/16" ball down into the deck and close the door over it. The fold-down design keeps your truck bed flat and ready for loading gear or materials without a hitch in the way. A simple pull of the T-handle lets you raise or lower the ball—even when you’re wearing thick work gloves—so you can switch between towing and hauling fast.

Easy Installation and Strong Mounting: Custom Bolt-On Kit with Safety Chain Loops

The included custom installation kit is built specifically for a direct bolt-on setup—no welding required. It comes with two U-bolt safety chain loops that mount securely through the bed for quick trailer hookup. The carbide black powder coated finish over steel helps resist corrosion, keeping the hitch looking sharp and performing strong over time.

Adaptable Towing Options: Works with Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Adapters

If your setup changes, this hitch can pair with the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045 for a 21K rated fifth wheel connection that installs right on the gooseneck ball. That flexibility makes it easy to tow different trailers without swapping out your entire hitch system.

Fast shipping, received in 2 days, installed day I received, great quality, customer service was very helpful. Instructions that came with the Curt 30k gooseneck hitch was not detailed but barely sufficient if you have basic mechanical skills,

by:

Got this for the 01 2500HD Sierra. Metal is extremely thick and strong. However, The holes for the bracket pull the cross bars up to the bottom of the truck better. Makes it seem like a lot of the weight is resting on the bolts and not the crossbars/frame.

by:

Over all a very stout set up but I was disappointed that I have factory threaded inserts in my frame for gooseneck hitches less than 2 inches from where this one mounts but this just didn't utilize them. It does use holes in the frame so there isn't any drilling though. Also you have to cut the bottom seam of the bed inside the wheel well (per instructions) to get the cross members in and have to cut a rather large square hole in the bed floor instead of just a hole for the ball ( also per instructions).

This Curt Overbed folding ball goose trailer hitch has worked like a charm since installing last summer. I would recommend it to customers looking for replacement gooseneck hitches on their rigs.

by:

Good product, at a great price

by:

Not very happy with this hitch. Install was much more difficult than my prior hitch. It's intrusive in the bed (the big rectangular plate is thick and you always know it's there). One winter on it and it's rusting and becoming difficult to deploy. It's hard to get the pin extended to secure the ball at times. Overall it's just not an impressive product in my opinion.

by:

its solid , no issues so far ...... the only little detail is the chain connectors they somehow by design tend be difficult to extend up and down but its an easy fix that got done on day one and no problem since

by:

I was looking for a 5th wheel solution and found this setup. Install was strait forward and Easy. It workes great with my 26 foot camper trailer. It folds almost flat with the bed floor for a flat load surface for sheet goods. The bottom of the mount does not drop to low to impead with exhaust pipe, hoses, drive shaft or rear diff. A great product sold by a good company that's there with support and solutions. Thanks etrailer.

by:

Etrailer is awesome, not so much for this product.
My first and primary issue is that the safety chain u-bolts are positioned to close to the angle iron brackets to allow clearance for them to freely move up and down with the nuts installed (see photos). I can force them up from below with a hammer and stomped them back down from above. This problem is made worse due to the proximity to the ball, if I dont ensure they arent stomped down as much as possible they would interfere with my coupler when turning. I'm honestly still worried about interference if I find myself in any off camber turn.
The other problem I have isnt the fault of the hitch, but now that its installed it is still much more intrusive to the bed space when folded flat than I anticipated. In the past I've had under bed mount balls, this being a work truck I thought the cheaper option would work but I regret that decision.

Great product, very easy to install. Did it in an afternoon by myself. A lift is helpful but it could be done with jack stands on the ground.

website was easy to navigate, easy to order, and my order arrived a day early.

Good & strong hitch Not my first one to install
use the directions they are good.

by:

I am extremely happy with my hitch! It was a pretty easy install, and I’ve never had trouble hauling large loads! Perfect for my horse trailers.

by:

The hitch works as it should a little hard to install if you don’t have the right tools but if you do it’s not bad as far as fit it fit perfect in my f-350

by:

The ball works just fine once you get it up and locked. The locking mechanism has to be greased or never-ceased almost every time. The tie downs for safety chains were hampered during installation by an existing cross member, but we got it in. Overall as for useability I vote "works fine" as for installation instructions are close.
Inside the bed it closes to give me all working area, I would buy it again.

by:

Haven’t installed yet but looks good shipping was not good box open all hardware all over

by:

Very nice product!!! Works well and is easy to install. Would have given it a 5 star but the product did not come with install papers so had to look up online. I tow a 28 foot gooseneck regularly and it does great!!! Also like that it lays flat in bed for when I need to haul something without trailer.

by:

Terrible instructions need more actual pics of where to place the plates ect.

by:

The hitch is heavy duty. The brackets that bolt to the frame seem too flimsy. They should be twice as thick as they are. A couple of the bolt holes did not line up so we ended up drilling my frame to mount. Would not recommend this if you are not comfortable drilling holes and cutting on your frame or bed.

  • Do You Have a Replacement Folding Gooseneck Hitch for a 1999 Ford F-350?
Hey Neal. Whatever gooseneck hitch you currently have in your 1999 Ford F-350 I do not think we have anymore. I could not find any gooseneck hitch with a 10" x 10" bolt pattern. However, I found one extremely close. The closest comparable option we have in a folding ball gooseneck hitch is the Curt item # C61332-52. The Curt item # C61332-52 has 6 mounting bolt holes. I have included an image with the measurements for this as the front to back mounting holes are 9-3/4" on center while...

  • Will Gooseneck Hitch From 2000 Ford F-250 Fit 2012 Ford F-250
Hello Derek; that is possible but it will depend on which gooseneck hitch you have. For example, the Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit # C61332-52 fits the 2000 Ford F-250 with an 8' bed as well as the 2012 F-250 with a 6-3/4' bed. The Curt Curt EZr Double Lock # C60685 fits the 2000 model but doesn't fit models after 2010 so it won't work with your 2012. What you need to do is identify the hitch and then reach out to the manufacturer to see if it...

Hello Scott, thanks for reaching out. There is one 5th wheel adapter that will work with the Curt Overbed Folding Ball Gooseneck # C61332-52. It is the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045. This will attach directly to the gooseneck ball and will give you a 21K rated 5th wheel hitch in the bed. The picture below shows a good example of what that will look like

  • Cost Effective Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for a 1999 Ford F-250 Long Bed
The most cost effective gooseneck trailer hitch we have for your 1999 Ford F-250 Long Bed is the Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # C61332-52. The Curt 600 Series Gooseneck Installation Kit part # C60644 only fits the 2011 + models and it also does not come with the center section. • Which Curt Folding Gooseneck Hitch Fits 2005 Ford F-250
The Curt gooseneck rail kit you mentioned does not fit your 2005 Ford F-250 short bed and also this is just a rail kit and not a complete hitch setup. For a Curt folding hitch that does fit your truck you'd want the part # C61332-52. Or for just the rails # C61332.

  • Hidden Gooseneck Hitch Options for 2013 Ford F-250
In order to install a Hide-A-Ball style gooseneck hitch on your 2013 Ford F-250 you'll need an underbed installation kit and gooseneck hitch; I recommend using the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit # 9460-49 since it allows for full truck bed access when ball is stored because the ball and safety chain loops are the only part of the hitch above the bed of the truck. The gooseneck ball on this hitch stores upside down in the hitch when it's not in use, to...

We have several solutions for adding a gooseneck to your 2000 Ford F-250 but the Fold-Down Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # 8339 is not a confirmed fit by itself. Instead use the Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit part # C61332-52 this has the rails and custom side plates to allow you to attach the flip down ball to securely. It is very cost effective and will do a great job.

  • Can Gooseneck Hitch Parts be Mixed on 2014 Ford F-350
The side brackets alone of the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1111 are not something available separately. Additionally, I very strongly recommend getting a complete hitch as opposed to mixing and matching parts of different gooseneck hitches. Mixing parts that have not been tested and are not designed to fit together is potentially dangerous and will have an unknown capacity. The Turnoverball is the best gooseneck hitch but there are other more economical options...
