Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle. This T-One typically plugs directly into the back of your factory-installed 7-way connector so you can retain the 7-way and also pull a trailer that has a 4-pole flat.

Features:

  • Provides a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights
    • Retains functionality of factory-installed 7-way, RV-style connector (if present)
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires
    • Locate connection points behind rear bumper
    • Plug in T-connector
  • Constructed of 16-gauge bonded wire
  • Comes with dust cap for 4-way flat connector

Specs:

  • Maximum amperage: 7.5 amps per circuit
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper. If you have a factory-installed 7-way, blade-style connector, the T-One will plug in between the 7-way and the OEM socket.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

  • All Lights Work But Trailer Showing Not Connected on 2013 Ram 3500 with Factory Brake Controller
You're likely correct that this issue is with the truck, and I know that with the first generation of the factory integrated brake controllers on the Ram trucks there were a lot of issues like this that people have seen. You also mentioned that you changed the 7 way connector on your truck, so corrosion on the connection isn't going to come in play since it's new. I would start by checking the ground wire connections on the trailer and your vehicle's 7 way connection. You'll want to make...

  • Troubleshooting Brake Controller Errors When Running Lights Or Hazard Lights Are Turned On
Hey Michael, The first thing I'd check is the ground both on the truck's 7-way because a weak ground causes all kinds of goofy issues. I'd just splice into the back of the factory 7-way and run a 10 gauge wire # 10-1-1 to the vehicle frame with a ring terminal # 44-5356A and self-tapping screw. I'd also check that there's not bare or damaged wires touching each other behind the 7-way. From there I'd start to question that the brake controller is properly functioning. You've already...

  • Fuse Locations for Trailer Running Lights on 2011 Ram 2500
I took a look at the online version of the owner's manual for your 2011 Ram 2500 and found a couple of fuses you will want to check inside the power module located in the engine compartment. There should be a 40 amp green fuse located in the J01 position and a 20 amp blue fuse in the J14 position. Both of these fuses are related to trailer lights so you will want to check to make sure they are present and in good condition. If the fuses are good and you are having issues with the trailer...

  • Troubleshooting Horse Trailer Interior Lights Not Functioning
The interior lights of your trailer would be powered by the 12 volt accessory circuit on the 7-way of your 2010 GMC Sierra. You will want to check the 1:00 position of the 7-way on your truck with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to verify if there is voltage on this pin. If there isn't voltage on this pin you are most likely missing the 40 amp fuse in the power distribution box and/or the circuit under the hood hasn't been completed. For more info on how to complete the circuit under...

  • Where Is Fuse For 12v Power To 7-way Connector In 2020 Ram 1500?
I check the owner's manual of your 2020 Ram 1500 and the fuse for the 12v power pin on your 2020 Ram 1500 is located in the fuse box underneath the instrument panel on the driver side, and the fuse is F01 which is a 30amp pink fuse. Check to make sure the fuse is not blown/missing, as this is more than likely causing the pin to not have power. I included a link to a helpful article on wiring for you to take a look at.

I took a look at the online version of the owner's manual for your 2016 Ram 1500. There should be a 30 amp pink fuse located in the F30 position inside the power distribution center. This fuse is specifically for the "Trailer Tow Receptacle". Make sure this fuse is present and in good condition. • How to Add a 4-Way Trailer Connector with the 7-Way Trailer Connector on a 2024 Honda Ridgeline
Hey Stephen, thanks for reaching out! You can either use the Hopkins # 30955 to give you both 7-Way and 4-Way connectors, or you can use the T-One # 118384 and Mounting Brackets # C83DR and # 18144 to mount the 4-Way separately from your current 7-Way. Either option plugs into the USCAR connector at the back side of the bumper on your 2024 Ridgeline.

  • Location of 12-volt Power Feed To Trailer Fuse on 2015 Ram 3500
The fuse for the 12-volt accessory circuit feed to the 7-way is a 30 amp fuse in location F30 in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Keep in mind that due to the distance between the alternator on the tow vehicle from the trailer battery and the small wire gauge used in that circuit limits the amount of amperage that can be delivered on that circuit. You can maintain a battery but there won't be enough available amperage to charge a depleted trailer battery. If shore power is available,...

  • Troubleshooting No Power at 12 Volt Pin on 7-Way for 2014 Ram 1500
Typically, this has to do with a missing or blown fuse. According to the online version of your owner's manual, the Trailer Tow 30-amp pink fuse can be found in cavity F30, in the fuse box (Power Distribution Center) under the hood of your 2014 Ram 1500. If the fuse is present and in good working condition, I recommend testing for power behind the 7-way connector. If the existing fuse is blown, be sure to check the power feed circuit on the trailer, making sure that there aren't any shorts in that wiring run.
