Wiring for trailer lights doesn’t need to be a hassle. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector plugs directly into the factory tail light connectors behind the trim panels. No wire cutting or splicing—just plug it in and snap the panels back in place. It’s a simple plug-and-play setup that gets you ready to tow in no time.
The harness stays tucked behind the rear threshold and side trim, keeping everything neat and out of sight. The converter box mounts inside the cargo area where it’s protected from road debris and moisture. When you’re done, only the 4-flat connector is visible, ready to hook up your trailer lights when needed.
A strong ground connection keeps voltage steady so your trailer lights work consistently. If you ever see low voltage at the plug, checking that ground connection usually does the trick. The built-in converter box ensures the right signal output for running, brake, and turn lights through the 4-way flat connector.
The 4-flat connector gives you everything you need for basic trailer lighting—running lights, left and right turn signals, and brake lights. It’s the same connection used on most small utility trailers, so once it’s installed you’re ready for towing right away.

I have had this installed for a year, now. It works great and I havent had to give it a second thought. The wire is nice and long, so it will reach out to the connector thats mounted too far back on my 14-foot trailer. My 4x8 trailer is more common for me to use, and there, too, I have no problem at all. It just works, plain and simple.
