Troubleshooting Curt Trailer Wiring Harness No Driver Side Lighting Functions Active
Updated 06/10/2024 | Published 06/03/2024 >
Question:
I installed this part on my 2002 Sienna. Very simple plug and play but when I test at the plug coming from the module, there is no power coming from the yellow socket...consequently, no left drivers side blinker / brake light. The passenger side works perfectly. I believe the module may be defective. You thoughts would be appreciated.

Expert Reply:
Hey David, it could very well be a bad module and needs to be replaced but it's also possible that one of the connectors just isn't seating properly as we see that pretty often. So try unplugging the connectors and plugging them back in to see if that fixes it.
