  • Crank handle is included

Specs:

  • Total lift: 37"
    • Travel: 21"
    • Drop leg: 16"
  • Cross shaft length: 41" - 71"
  • Handle dimensions: 29-11/16" long x 10-3/16" wide
  • Footplate dimensions: 5" long x 7-15/16" wide
  • Combined weight capacity: 6,000 lbs
  • 90-Day warranty
  • Made in the USA

Note: Landing gear is designed to stabilize a portion of your trailer's weight, not to support the full GVWR of your trailer. Do not use landing gear to lift your trailer or RV during tire changes or service work because doing so will exceed the capacity of the landing legs.

This landing gear set is constructed of powder coated steel to ensure that it will resist rust and corrosion and hold up well against the elements. Each jack has a drop leg that allows the gear to reach the ground faster, saving you time and energy that would have been spent manually cranking. The cross shaft ensures that the jacks raise and lower at the same rate, and it telescopes so that it can fit the width of your trailer. A crank handle is included so that you can engage the landing gear manually.

This set includes everything you need for a smooth installation. The brackets are designed to weld onto your trailer, and the jacks then bolt onto those mounting brackets with the included hardware.

  • Dimensions of Lippert Landing Gear LC333966
The Lippert Manual Landing Gear Set with Handle - Weld On - 37" Lift - 6,000 lbs # LC333966 has a total lift of 37 inches so you can simply add that to the pictured dimensions for the fully extended lift. The Atwood name on the picture is because Lippert bought out Atwood and this is the correct fit. The gearbox measures 6-1/2" long x 5-1/2" wide x 7" tall. The lower legs of the landing gear are the standard 2-1/4 inches.

  • Replacement Fulton Landing Gear Lead Leg Needed
Since we do not currently carry any Fulton brands for landing gear, I recommend replacing both legs. Having 2 different brands for your landing gear could result in an uneven leveling experience since their adjustments could be slightly different. Since Lippert Components plays a huge role in the manufacturing of RV's and trailers I recommend going with either their 6,000 lb Manual Set # LC333966 or the same set that is Electric # LC333964. All you will need to do is make sure that the...

  • Is it Possible to Add an Electric Motor to Landing Gear Jacks on a Horse Trailer
Sounds like you are looking for a motor to add to your existing landing gear to make them a powered landing gear set. I would have to know what brand of landing gear you have to know for sure what parts you would need. Lippert, Venture and Stromberg Carlson landing gear are the same like part # LC333966. This is a very popular set that can have a motor added to it. You would need the motor kit # LC142178 and switch kit # LG-145236. You can use the same gearbox that comes with the...

  • How Much Weight Can Landing Gear Hold
It depends on what 5th wheel landing gear you have. For example; the Lippert Landing Gear part # LC333966 is rated for 6,000 lbs. It can be used with a trailer that weighs more than 6,000 lbs because it is only supporting part of that load - the tires, wheels, and axles should be supporting the bulk of the weight. Keep in mind that the pin weight of a 5th wheel trailer is typically 20% of the loaded trailer weight. As long as you are not going over the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)...

  • Recommended Landing gear for my 2009 Denali Camper.
The Lippert Manual Landing Gear Set with Handle part # LC333966 is a great choice for your camper. the 6,000 lb. capacity is perfect as it is not lifting the entire 12,200 lbs. but a much smaller portion of that closer to that of your pin weight.

My contact at Lippert Components confirmed that their manual landing gear # LC333966 can indeed be converted to powered operation later on through use of their motor kit # LC142178 and switch kit # LG-145236. You can use the same gearbox that comes with the manual landing gear.

  • Will Lippert Universal Landing Gear Fit in Place of a System with No Name
Most landing gear sets fit on the trailer the same way so it is very likely that the Lippert Universal kit # LC333966 will fit your trailer. But regarding if the motor you have will work or not I cannot say without knowing the manufacturer or model. For a little bit more you could get a system that comes with a motor, # LG-1, which is rated for 5,500 pounds. The next size up, # LG-3, is rated for 6,500 pounds.

  • Landing Gear Set to Replace Atwood Set on 1998 Excel Peterson with Atwood Landing Gear
The landing gear part # RVLG-8HDL would bolt right up to your RV that had Atwood landing gear but since you just bought a Stromberg Carlson motor your best option would be to go with the Lippert manual landing gear set part # LC333966 instead as this also bolts right up to your RV but will allow you to also use the motor you have. The motor you have is not compatible with the # RVLG-8HDL.

  • Replacing Landing Gear for 2003 Keystone Cougar Fifth Wheel
I have a way for you to replace the landing gear on your 2003 Keystone Cougar, but the original Fulton landing gear set that came on that model camper does not use standard dimensions and is no longer available. Finding a landing gear set that has the 17-1/2" inner weld stop dimension is not going to be easy because according to the Fulton, they were made special for the model frame used on your Keystone Cougar that year. Yes. You can use Stromberg Carlson Manual Landing Gear Set - 34-7/8" Lift - 8,000 lbs Item # LG-183708 in place of the Lippert set that you have now. Or you can use Lippert set # LC333964 for an electric set or # LC333966 for a manual set. Or you could save some money and go with # RVLG-8HDL. It will use the same brackets that your Lippert system has. Given the options available I would go with this set if it were me.

  • Recommendations for Jacks to Lift a Trailer 28 to 30 Inches
RV and trailer scissor jacks such as # UF48-979031 are meant for stabilization purposes but not lifting applications. What I recommend is to use a couple of farm jacks such as # RP7033400 which are meant for lifting. This model has a maximum lift of 42 inches. It will also be easier to use than scissor jacks. But they have to be used manually and each one raised evenly with the others. Another option if you want something permanently attached to the trailer is to use some landing gear...

You will only need one motor # LC142178 and switch # LG-145236, to convert your Lippert hand cranking landing gear, like # LC333966, to powered landing gear. Simply mount the motor over the end of the shaft on the inside of your manual jack's gearbox. Make sure the motor is on the side of the jack where the crank was originally positioned. Then secure the motor to the gearbox with machine screws and you are good to go.
