Question:
I have a 1998 Excel Peterson Ind Excel Fifth Wheel Series M-30-5RGO. I need to replace my landing gear, because the Atwood landing gear and most of the landing gear parts on my camper now is obsolete. I verified the distance between the weld stops to be 15 1/2 same as part #RVLG-8HDL. I recentlly purchased the Stromberg Carlson motor, and need to find out if this motor will work with this part.

Expert Reply:
The landing gear part # RVLG-8HDL would bolt right up to your RV that had Atwood landing gear but since you just bought a Stromberg Carlson motor your best option would be to go with the Lippert manual landing gear set part # LC333966 instead as this also bolts right up to your RV but will allow you to also use the motor you have.
The motor you have is not compatible with the # RVLG-8HDL.
