Most Popular Titan Chain for 2020 Jeep Wrangler

Bought these chains for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock Edition. I am running Goodyear Duratrac 255/75r17's which are the stock tire size. I clamped on the chains when I got them just to make sure they are in working order, checked the tire to frame clearance and really all clearances and everything seems to clear fine. I will not be rock crawling or doing any extreme articulation with the chains on. Solid set of chains and I am looking forward to trying them out in Colorado this year when we go elk hunting.

These days we mostly rely on Amazon for online shopping - however, I am thrilled to have decided to purchase directly through etrailer for the following reasons: 1) Confidence - There's shwarmy re-selling on Amazon, where I felt confident I was going to get what I asked for from etrailer (and I did!). 2) Speed - Again, not quite 2 days guaranteed (which those of us with Prime have become accustomed to), but my two sets of chains only took maybe an extra day. 3) Process - etrailer provided easy-to-follow email updates on the order, shipping, delivery, and follow-up. Given how heavy-duty these chains are, and my infrequency of use, I suspect I'll be good for a long time. But when the time comes, I'll gladly purchase directly through etrailer again. Ps. DEFINITELY practice getting these on once before you need them. It just takes one attempt to recognize how easy they are to equip/take off, but never hurts.

My chains arrived yesterday. After unpacking them, I was impressed by the good looking and functional case they come in. I viewed the instruction video twice, and feel confident that my first real use will be easy. I am heading over the mountains of British Columbia this upcoming weekend, and have every expectation for our typical high-altitude winter conditions. I feel sure that my trusty F-450's slightly worn dually's drive tires will take almost anything in stride . . . (at 30 MPH ;-)

I bought the TC2228CAM tire chains because etrailer has a size chart which actually includes the tire size I bought for, but I was really happy and surprised to see how well they are constructed. I haven't installed them yet but feel confident they will work just fine. 2001 4runner Tire: 265/70r/16

I have only unpacked the chains and have not mounted them yet. But after inspecting the chains one of the cross chains is twisted as some others have reviewed the same problem. I bought these for a 04 Jeep Wrangler with 315/75R16's. With this I am skeptical of their quality. I will most likely attempt to cut out a link and straighten them myself as opposed to returning. Time will tell of their quality and/or durability.

I've used Titan cam style v bar chains in the past and am purchasing the again. That's probably enough said about the product. I actually don't ever plan on using these chains. I live in California, drive an f150 4x4, but am requried by law to carry chains when chain restrictions are in place. We all know that before Caltrans/CHP require that 4x4's with MS or AT tires chain up, they will just close the roads. Great service and prompt delivery. Thank you!

Just received my chains yesterday. I have to say, first of, customer service is EXCELLENT! I had questions on which chains were best for my SUV and I was promptly responded with suggestions and links to videos. I went with these tire cables for my 2015 Dodge Durango SXT Plus. There was question about clearance issues with brake lines on the Durango and these seem to be very low profile and made for lower clearance. The price was right too. I did a dry install today and it was a breeze. Took way longer to fold these back up and put back into the storage bag! Lol! (That's not these chains fault, it's user error...) I took some pictures but note it was my first time installing tire cables so I'm going to have to center them a bit more. I purchased the Titan chain multi arm rubber chain adjusters and they did make a difference on how snug the cables fit, so I would recommend them. We only plan on using them on very rare occasions when we venture up the mountain, so in sure if you live where it snows all the time, you will probably look at higher prices chains, but I think these are perfect for the occasional use. I will update after our Big Bear trip if we use them to reflect actual use. Thank you etrailer, they also upgraded my shipping to get here a couple days earlier just because... that was amazing!

I received my order on the 2nd day. great response time. haven't open it yet, winter is a little ways off so i won't Know my satisfaction or dislike till that time comes I plan on this weekend to put both, the blind spot mirrors, and my boat mirror on. I live in Florida so I will know about the boat mirror soon. I bought a little Jeep wrangler for my son who lives in upstate NY (Adirondack mts.) . he owns a restaurant up there and when it snows they charge him a pretty penny to plow it.so I got to get the jeep up there, buy and install a plow for it and walla! thank you for your concern! i'll let you know how it all shakes out.

No snow yet but the practice installation went great! So simple my 6 year-old helped make sure I was following the instructions properly. Time will tell if I need them and how they work in the upcoming North Idaho snow plowing season. Fit great on my 275/70R18 tires. I appreciate the carrying case they came with, also!

the chains that Gwendolyn sent me fit perfectly. And, they arrived in time to take them on a 2,900mile trip. As it turned out, I didn't have to use them, as the weather let up, and got through the Rockies and the Cascades with no need for chains. Better to have them and not use them, than need them and not have them.

They keep me on the road as much as is reasonable to expect. They are grippier that other chains I’ve used, but also seem to be more finicky to tighten and tore up my mud guards with the v-bars. Using them on a 98 rav4, 2wd. I would probably get something different for my specific vehicle if I had to go back, but these really do grab the road when you need it!

Used them all last winter to access job sites well off the main roads. Chains are a must most days even with 4wd and with caution my 2wd work truck never got stuck.

1/15/2024 I couldn’t go up my property, so on 1/17 I ordered this chain with the TCMA2 Rubber chain hook. On 1/22 I tried it was a beautiful climb, and decent, my driveway has a 17 degree slope. I try again next day with a glance of ice, NO Problem! A year later, same success! Love to have the right tool.

Needed some help getting up my son‘s driveway. These were very easy to put on one at a time and will be very helpful. I did drive a short distance on the the road, which was very bumpy and could only go about 10 miles an hour. I took a spin out in the backyard which had about a foot of snow on it without a problem. JUST WHAT I WANTED. Good quality, light duty, low profile, ladder pattern tire chains. Perfect fit, 225/60 R17, on my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek, although this was my second Go-a-Round on ordering. Titan Chain lists TC1138 as the size for this tire and my car. NOT SO! The TC1142 is the one that fits ... perfectly! But Titan says that's for a 225/65 R17 size. THEY ARE WRONG! The TC1138 is 4" too short, and that's a HUGE discrepancy for tire chains. etrailer was absolutely no help with getting the right fit as they only go by listed sizes and don't know any product details (and don't want to know), only selling chains. They tried to steer me towards a Konig Chain with a diamond pattern at almost 5x the cost and far more complicated to install. I found the right chain size on their website in about 5 min. and ordered 2x pairs.

A good choice for our new 2025 Highlander Hybrid XLE with 18" tires. Have occasional winter mountain snow needs, and like the easier install Chains came somewhat tangled, needing some patience to straighen our the first time. Expect less issue repacking them in the good carry case. A practice install highly recommended, as these are NOT the standard chains I had been used to. Seemed to install fairly tight first time. Just need some snow now. Happy with my choice so far. L

Well made, however the rear wheel clearance at the front inner side is questionable. Very close, maybe get a finger between chain and plastic inner fender. But I bought them for emergency use if need when plowing my driveway, and if kept tight may not cause a problem. Will have to check constantly and keep loose ends tied fast to rest of chains. Clearance might not be a problem with lifted vehicles. Am using on a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with oem tire size (but with Bridgestone Dueler AT ).

I am impressed with the Titan Snow Tire Chains I purchased recently. They appear to be well made and sturdy. They fit my tires and were easy to install. The V-Bar links allow me to drive into the woods with the confidence that I will be able to return home safely.

Seems to be heavy duty enough for me. I had lighter chains which cross links were unhooking but not breaking. Hope these will solve the problem.

I just installed the V-Bar Chains and tried them out on my icy driveway. Wow, the traction is amazing. I installed these on my 1990 Ingersoll hydrive 4014 lawn tractor.
