Best Battery Box For Two Litime 12V 320Ah Mini LiFePO4 Batteries  

Really like mine. It didn't line up on my rv tounge to do the easiest hookup but enough different connection options offered I was able to put it on fairly easy.

Bought and installed spring of 2024. This is by far one of my better adds on the trailer. We'll built box easy to install and easy to remove the batteries and store for winter. Hauled the trailer over 3000 miles this summer with no worries.

I mounted mine on the A-frame just behind the propane tanks and in front of the trailer basement compartment. It barely squeezed in. My trailer is a 2023 Micro Minnie Winnebago 1720FB. The box now holds 4 Renogy 100Ah Core Lithium batteries. It had space left over which I use to store electric items. The mounting was done with self-tapping bolts. I am going to watch those closely since I have read comments online that self-tapping bolts can shake loose over time. Double check the battery box interior measurements before you buy. The battery cable length also comes into play so be sure you have slack or be prepared to add a bus-bar. This did add some weight to the hitch, but nothing that affected handling. So far it seems to work well.

Hi Jesse M, thank you for your response. My LiTime 320Ah batteries didn't fit in the TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box #TLA7700L. There are three horizontal braces in the box, two at the ends and one in the middle. These help tie down the battery to prevent vertical movement. As I drop in the LiTime 320Ah battery, it fits half way down until it was wedged in by the end and middle horizontal brace. I doesn't reach the bottom of the box. I spoke to Torklift on the phone. Aside, I found Torklift to be an excellent company with excellent customer service. The boxes have a manufacturing tolerance of about 3/16" meaning the difference in dimension between the LiTime 320Ah batteries and the box are too tight to accommodate the reasonable manufacturing process associated with producing the box. In short, the box didn't work for my 2 LiTime 320Ah batteries. You need to measure each of the two openings where the battery will be placed in the box being shipped to you to ensure the actual battery dimensions will fit in the A7700L. This will ensure all works in view of the expected manufacturing tolerances. I'm told by Torklift there engineering team is working toward producing new boxes that specifically accommodate the larger lithium batteries now on the market, so I trust they will have PowerArmor products that better aligned to the larger lithium batteries in the future. For now, I resorted to two NOCO battery trays secured inside my front pass-through compartment positioned perpendicular to the front of my 2026 Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108DS coach for weight balancing. This worked for me and my rig. I mounted my Renogy 2000W inverter on the aluminum beams above the batteries to keep everything centered. The Torklift A7700L is very well made, durable, and sturdy but regretfully, is not a fit for 2 LiTime 320Ah batteries.
