07 frontier works perfectly. Connects to my existing channel for the tie-downs.
Easy to install and sits at same level as the truck’s channel. It doesn’t project above the truck’s bed rail and doesn’t interfere with a bed cover.
The product installed easily into to the truck bed rails. It came with the Torx wrench. Once installed I was impressed with how solid the bike was held by place. The overall quality is great. I'm impressed with the fit and finish. Finally, the transition from accomodating a 9mm qr to a 15mm through axel is very simple, it does require a small Allen wrench (not provided). I'm pleased with the product.
Product is very well made. I had to also purchase the adaptor for 12mm thru axle bike fork but this is the only product it could find to work. Customer service at etrailer is outstanding.
These Swagman fork clamps are very nicely made....much heavier and higher quality than i expected. The 15 mm axle adapter is also heavy duty. The 9mm skewer works well and also high quality. The package i ordered came with two sets of different size plates for mounting on my truck cargo rack system. It also comes with torx security bolts of two different lengths and a wrench. This product is fantastic for anyone that needs the freedom of mounting a fork mount to any surface and in any location. It's been great. I have 4 of them mounted to my truck bed tool box so that I have endless versatility with road bikes, kids bikes, mountain bikes in different combinations.
The quick sleeve replacement is tight and smooth that has no play.
The packaging from etrailer kinda sucked as they were stuffed into a small box and the packaging was damaged. Less than desirable but no damage to my parts.
Bought these for my 2005 Tacoma for when I tow my camper. I like having bikes in the bed where I can see them. Mounting on bed rail system was very easy. Mountain bikes fit perfectly front to back and are rock solid. I do also use straps to secure bikes to each other and the side rails for extra stability on long bumpy trips. Really great product. Definitely recommend them.
Great product. Ordered with the boost 110 adapter for my wife's and mine Trek Roscoe's, and everything fits perfectly. In my Frontier, I mounted them closer to the bedsides and pull the rear wheels of the bikes to the middle of the bed and am able to close the tailgate.
I like that the fasteners for the mount are a security-style torx fastener. Nice details. Also, while the product may look a little plastic-y in the product shots, it's not! It seems very well built.
