If you like your front end to stay clean and uncluttered when you’re not towing, this setup makes that easy. The direct-connect brackets sit far back on the frame so they’re virtually invisible once the drawbars are removed. Each arm clicks into place with a twist-lock connection, then pulls out quickly using the built-in release rings. When the arms are off, the brackets stay tucked behind the grille and out of sight.

The 5/8" hole on each tow bar clevis fits standard Roadmaster hitch pins like the RM-910034, giving you a solid, secure attachment point every time you hook up.

I like the look of a custom fit , my approach angle is not disrupted !
All in all the installation was pretty straightforward the space between the frame flanges was too tight by 3/16". I was prepared for it because it is mentioned in the video. Spreading the flanges is no easy task in a home garage, but I used a scissors jack and piece of pipe. I had to spread it one inch and the spring back got me to the 3/16". Seems like this would be known and fixed by the manufacturer. If it was over by a smidge it surely would get pulled in by the bolting. Counting on the DIY guy or mechanic to compensate for this flaw is, in my eyes, unacceptable. And then trimming the steel splashguard. 6 times in and out, more grinding, fitting was a major pain. These vehicles are built by robots and there shouldn't be a whole lot of difference in fitment from vehicle to vehicle. Why not include a template to at least get you close.
Seems more robust than the Ford Ranger base plates…of which cracked and cracked the frame of the truck. The welded cross bar should help in that regard. 2nd….I didn’t reinstall the plastic splash guard or the metal cross piece…I want to easily see and check the bolts periodically without having to remove a splash guard to do so.

So far it’s working just fine. Towed the Jeep to the Florida Keys in November. It stayed mounted tight… no bolts loosened up.
