Will Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Fit with Winch on a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimted

Question:

I am purchasing a 2023 wrangler rubicon unlimited 3.0L diesel with the steel bumper but no winch. I plan to add a winch in the future but for now I need to set it up for a flat tow. do I need to purchase and install the Mopar winch mounting plate prior to installing the RM24VR or can it be installed without the winch mounting plate for now and then add the winch mounting plate later?

The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM24VR will install just fine without the winch mount on your 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. With that being said, sometimes mounting locations are the same between base plate kits and other front-mounted accessories so I definitely recommend referencing the installation video and linked photo to ensure you can install both products on your Jeep prior to purchasing the winch mount.
