Recommended Base Plate for 2018 Jeep Wrangler Compatible With Winch

I installed a Roadmaster RM-521453-5 base plate with RM-522 on my 2018 Jeep JL Unlimited Rubicon back in 2021. I have the OEM Jeep Steel bumpers. I tried to install a winch on my front bumper but evidently the bracket that I need for the winch plate is already being used by the Roadmaster base plate. Is there a kit or another tow base plate that I can install so that I can have both winch and flat towing capabilities using the OEM steel bumper?

Danny, it sounds like you're looking for something like the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM24VR which will work with a winch.
This base plate kit will not interfere with the winch you have, and Roadmaster even shows a picture of the bumper with a winch in the instructions.

Hey Danny, how did things go with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect base plate kit on your Jeep Rubicon? Did it give you the clearance you needed to mount your winch and keep your flat towing setup? Your update could make it easier for others working with the OEM steel bumper.
