Base Plates For 2011 Jeep Liberty Sport Without Rock Guard For Roadmaster Tow Bar

Question:

I have a RoadMaster Blackhawk All Terrain SN-001639 Towbar... I need to purchase a Base Plate for my 2011 Jeep Liberty Sport No Brush Guard... The attaching brackets removable arms on the RM-521448-5 appear to be correct but this one is not listed for a Jeep Liberty.... Do you sell a Base Plate similar to the above that will fit and attach to my Jeep Liberty without any additional adapters? Another thought What revisions would i need to make on the above Base Plate for it to mount on my Jeep Liberty.... Any help will be appreciated... Thanx....

I verified with Roadmaster with the correct base plate fit for your 2011 Jeep Liberty Sport without a rock guard, and it is different than the part you mentioned. The correct is the following:

- Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 521433-1

According to Roadmaster, the # 521433-1 is compatible with all Roadmaster tow bars, including your Blackhawk All-Terrain.

Insofar as revisions to the base plate number you asked about, that is not something that should be done as it will compromise the strength of the base plate.
