Notes:
This Shocker HD Max Air Hitch is built for high-demand towing with a raised combo ball and sway control capability. The built-in air ride system isolates your trailer from road shock and trailer sway, helping reduce fatigue and wear on your equipment.
The hitch body pivots like a seesaw beneath the receiver, using an air bag to absorb vertical shock and rubber bump cushions to absorb front-to-back jerks. The result is a smoother, safer tow, even on rough pavement, hills, or under heavy load.
Use the air valve to adjust pressure based on your trailer's tongue weight. Inflate until the bumper contacts the hitch frameno more, no less. This gives you the exact shock absorption needed without over-inflating or stiffening the ride.
Whether you're towing race trailers, construction equipment, or a fully loaded toy hauler, this air hitch gives you better control, smoother stops, and less stress on your frame, brakes, and suspension.

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here from Etrailer and today I'm at N.A.T.M and this convention brings a lot of the vendors that we have at Etrailer to a convention where we have their booths and their products set up. I had a chance to catch up with quite a few of them. So let's take a look at their products a little bit up close in, ask some of the questions to those vendors about their products. I'm here with Hunter from Shocker Hitch and they have some products that really stand out from any other towing components. They have some cool technology.
So first and foremost, Hunter, what is Shocker Hitch So Shocker Hitch, what we do is we essentially take the air ride concept that's been around for a long time and we're putting it on a trailer hitch. Now in a sense we're taking that connection and sending it through an airbag now, kinda letting the pickup and trailer do their own thing going down the road instead of fighting each other. So now what we're doing is we're absorbing that energy that transfers between the two, sending it through our airbag. So now it's not going through the frames of everything, which then it creates a smooth ride for you. Creates a smooth ride for what's in or on the trailer.
Plus then it just helps with longevity of the equipment. You know, now we're taking care of the equipment and not having all that shock go through and you know, drive, train, welds, I mean all that stuff. You betcha. Yeah. Yeah.
And that's as he mentioned, you know, as you tow a lot of people look for truck suspension enhancements or things along those nature, but having the connection point where two metal objects hit have cushion, you're right, it translates to that whatever you have race cars, horses, whatever it may be, that's gonna keep all of your components that you have on your trailer safe down the road. Right. Yep. Yeah. And most, you know, most of the convention, like the air suspension on your pickup of your trailer, that's an up and down cushioning effect that they're doing there.
Our hitch we are doing some up and down, but the true focus on our hitch is the forward and back tug that you're getting and that's where we're essentially being a great compliment to those systems with ours is you got the up and down with the majority of that, then you're getting that tug and cushion with ours. So ball mounts. Hunter Yep. You just kind of offer, obviously, you know, you hook it up, you'd be able to tow your trailer and have that cushioning, but also as you fill it doesn't, it kinda acts as an anti-rattle at the same time, doesn't it Yeah, exactly. So our bumper hitches are kind of our staple, you know, this was the first product that we came out with and then everything else kind of followed. So this was our staple and this is what we've really focused on for. I shouldn't say really focused, but this has been kind of our staple for a long time. So yeah, when you fill these hitches up in a sense this will slide into your receiver just like on your pickup or any of your tow vehicle. Got the two, two and a half, three inch. You're not having to run reducers or anything like that. So we've got no air in this one here to where you can see it's free, there's a gap here. So you essentially just slide this in and then as you put your trailer on here, it's gonna push down and compress that airbag. Then all you do is you'll fill it up just till this mainframe starts touching this rear cushion again. And then you're set. And then now while you're doing that, now this paddle is clamped underneath that receiver, which then is locked that hitch in, which is giving you essentially your built in anti-rattle. Brad And that way the airbag can really do all of it 'cause it's nice and solid here and that bag's gonna get- Hunter Exactly. Brad All of that movement. That bag has taken all that now to where, I mean, you know, if you don't have really an anti-rattle here, that play in there is taking an effect to when that cushioning is actually gonna start in a sense too. So, you know, if you've got a bunch of play there, the cushioning is only doing so much with what it can do there. So you bet. Yep. And you guys, obviously you can see on the sign here, but you guys have tons of different applications. So pintle, different balls, combo, a little bit of everything. Yeah, we've offered a, you know, we've really worked hard on getting a very vast variety of attachments for any towing option that you have all, like you said, our combo balls definitely are most popular. Our pintle are right behind it, but like we got rise mounts, drop mounts, we have attachments with sway bars on there. So if you run an anti-sway easy hookup there, egg-based stuff, clevis, drawbars, we got a cushion drawbar. So, yeah, we've really focused hard on making sure that we have very universal attachments for all of our stuff to help in any towing situation. So. Brad And USA made USA made always. Awesome. Well thank you Hunter for taking the time to break down Shocker Hitch and all of the products. Appreciate. Fantastic stuff. Appreciate you guys you stopping. Have a great one, all right Thank you.
This hitch is guaranteed a smooth ride it worked amazing on my F250 pulling a 36' enclosed triple axel trailer. The hitch itself helped alot with sway. The hitch does more than it says is an absolutely great product. The trailer was very friendly and very helpful and shipping Was dead on time. Very high quality product and very easy and simple to install and to change the ball from 2 and 5 sixteenths to 2" is a breeze. Adding air and taking air out of the bag is simple As you add air you can see it rise and start working. I will be purchasing another one.
Great product, well built and looks nice. I’m ready to give it a shot….
