Solves the problem of truck hitch and bed height continuous increase year to year. Gives me the hitch level I need.

This product weighs about 23 pounds. It’s nicely made. Connecting my Blue Ox Avail to it and a future bike rack. Ordering from etrailer went very smoothly. I was amazed how fast I got it. I do need to order a hitch extender. This won’t go all the way into my Class A mobile home hitch receiver to the second pin hole. The coach body is in the way. Not etrailer’s fault. Mine. These guys are great to work with. I already have an email into them to ask for a hitch extender recommendation.

Exactly what I ordered Thx!! Packaging was wasted by the time it got to me, good thing it had no extra parts!

Year later a still doing its job. Great product!!

Having had less expensive or solidly built drop hitches, this unit is exceptional and provides a real sense of security for towing a vehicle with a motorhome.

Great product. Very well made, very nice finish. Heavy duty.
Such a pleasure to deal with etrailers

Good deal..great product...Seems like it got here before I finished ordering.. ..I pity anyone who runs into the back of my truck ! I love it

  • Recommended Stacked Receiver To Flat Tow A 2019 Ford Fusion And Carry An E-Bike With
Because of the way the Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7420 folds up for storage you are going to have to remove your bike rack from the Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-303 prior to folding up the tow bar. To completely clear the bike rack you would need too long of an extension to be safe flat towing your vehicle. While it's not as convenient I do recommend going with a stacked receiver and placing the bike rack in the highest receiver with your Avail...

  • Distance from Hitch Pin Hole to Edge of Arms on Swagman Trailhead 4 Bike Rack
From the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest edge of the arms on the Swagman Trailhead 4 Bike Rack # S63380 measures 38-1/2". The only thing that you're missing is that most dual hitch adapters will reduce the weight rating by 50% and then any hitch extender has a 50% weight reduction as well. To keep your trailer hitch weight rating the highest it can be I recommend using a Gen-Y Hitch like part # 325-GH-303 as the dual hitch adapter because it is built in such a way that Gen-Y...

  • Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter Capacity
The Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-2 has a gross towing weight of 10,000 lbs and tongue weight of 400 lbs. This is intended for flat towing, otherwise the adapter will reduce your hitch capacity by 50%. Since you're using a winch I recommend the Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-303 instead. This will have no impact on your hitch capacity and has a 10,000 lb gross towing weight with a 1,500 lb max tongue weight capacity. If you need an even higher...

  • Dual Hitch Adapter for Bike Rack With E-Bikes on 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Towing 2024 Aliner Classic
I would say throw a hitch on the trailer and then add the bike rack but none of the racks with a high enough capacity are rated for a travel trailer. For a hitch adapter I recommend using the Gen-Y stacked receivers like the # 325-GH-305. Unlike normal adapters this will not cut your hitch capacity in half. It also gives you good options for rise to clear your trailer jack and propane. I'm not totally sure what clearance you need without trying it or taking measurements but I can help...

  • Drop Shank Adapter For Carrying A Black Widow Motorcycle Carrier Lower On Vehicle For Easier Loading
I have a recommendation as the Roadmaster High Low Adapter # RM-058-4 is only designed to be used with tow bars and not a motorcycle carrier. The Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-303 gives you 3 stacked receivers. This will give you different options on how much you want to lower your carrier. You can place it level with your receiver, 2-1/2" or 5" of drop. This adapter allows for 1,500lbs of tongue weight and will be able to handle your Black Widow motorcycle...

  • Recommended Gen-Y Hitch for 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 and Trailer with DO45 Coupling
It looks like the pin part of the DO45 (which takes the place of a standard hitch ball) has a shank with a 1-1/4" diameter so I recommend using the Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount # C45340 with a Gen-Y hitch as this ball mount has up to a 17K towing capacity. For the Gen-Y hitch it all depends on the height of the trailer and if your 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 is stock height or not. If your Chevy is stock height then you should be just fine with the Gen-Y Shank # 325-GH-303 which gives...

  • Gen Y Replacement Shank on 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Towing Travel Trailer
The Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-303 is a great option for lowering the ball mount for your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500. This shank is rated for 10,000lbs which is well below the 6,000lbs of your travel trailer. The one thing that I want you to consider is you said you have a 5" Lift. Does that include or exclude any larger tires that may have also been installed. If it doesn't include the tires you might want to consider the Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable...

  • Hitch Adapter for Flat Towing Vehicle and Bike Rack Behind RV
There are some great options out there for towing a vehicle behind your RV along with a bike rack, and you are heading in the right direction. You are correct that Roadmaster does not make any dual hitch adapters that allow you to use your tow bar in-line with the hitch receiver. The best option available is the Gen-Y # 325-GH-303, which is a more economical alternative to the # 325-GH-314 adapter you were looking at. It also has the same 10,000 lb gross towing weight and 1,500 lb tongue...

  • Can Blue Ox High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars Be Used to Tow a Trailer
The Blue Ox High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars # BX88235 is designed for lateral pulling like what we see with a flat-tow setup since the towed vehicle is supported on all 4 wheels. For your application I recommend using the Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-303 which offers the same rise/drop the Blue Ox does but this is more of a heavy duty piece that can be used for towing a trailer. • Aluminum Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan
Thanks for reaching out, J! I recommend checking out the Flint Hill Goods 22" x 49" Cargo Carrier # FHG27ZR which is has the dimensions and aluminum constructions you're looking for, but it does have a straight shank. If you're needing a rise, the best option is to use something like the Gen-Y Shank # 325-GH-303 or Yakima BackSwing # Y02483. I personally like the BackSwing better because it gives you the ability to move the carrier entirely out of the way without unloading it, but the...

The best option for what you are seeking is the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers - 2" Hitch - 7-1/2 inch Drop/Rise # 325-GH-3145 or the 5 inch # 325-GH-303 if you want to use a different ball mount. • Hitch Adapter Recommendation for Bike Rack on Lifted Vehicle
For your application the best product to use is the Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount Shank - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop/Rise # 325-GH-303 because it will give you a much more solid connection than a Roadmaster high-low adapter would for your Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202. Since there will be an additional connection between the hitch receiver and bike rack it is imperative to make sure the Gen-Y sits stable in your Jeep hitch receiver. To help out with this I recommend picking up the etrailer Anti-Rattle...

  • Hitch Extension For Using Gen-Y Stacked Receiver Behind a 2019 Tiffin Allegro Red 33AA Motorhome
I do see what you are talking about Aaron on the Replacement Shank # 325-GH-303. We do have the Gen-Y Extension # GY89SR which will give you a 14" extension but do understand it will reduce your receivers capacity by 50%. If this is an issue we do have the 16K Shank # 325-GH-503 which is slightly longer. This stacked receiver is 6-1/8" from the center of the rear hole to the back of the stacked receivers. The # 325-GH-303 is 5-5/8" so it is only going to be 1/2" difference.

  • Towing Capacity on Gen-Y Replacement Shank
Not only does the Gen-Y Replacement Shank # 325-GH-303 have the 10,000-lbs capacity (1500-lbs tongue weight) that you're looking for, it will provide you with a 5" rise or drop, depending on how you decide to use it. This hitch will work with your existing ball mount and give you 7-1/8" of clearance from the center of the hitch pin on the shank to the center of the hitch pin for the ball mount.

  • How To Lower Bike Rack Connection Without Reducing Weight Capacity
I do have an option for you to drop the connection point with the bike rack and that is with the Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount part # 325-GH-303. This is one of the only options that won't reduce weight capacity and it can be used for towing a well with the Replacement 2-Ball Mount part # 325-GH-031 if need be. The Roadmaster High-Low Adapter part # RM-048-4 is a more cost effective option but will reduce the weight capacity of the hitch by 50% or 400 lb, whichever is lower.

  • Recommended Hitch for 2021 Toyota RAV4 Carrying Yakima HangOver Bike Rack
For a trailer hitch receiver that will give you enough clearance on your 2021 Toyota RAV4 I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e23ZR. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. The distance from the ground to the top of the receiver opening is 12-1/4" so it will give you just enough ground clearance for your Yakima HangOver Bike Rack # Y02484. • Recommended High-Low Hitch Receiver Adapter to Use with Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack
It's true that a high-low adapter, like the Roadmaster # RM-076, will help reduce the height of the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 but the problem you're then looking at is the weight capacity of your hitch receiver is cut in half so if you're weight capacity is 350 lbs of tongue weight it'll be reduced to 175 lbs. This is due to moving the weight further back from your hitch so it amplifies the weight (think of it like a seesaw). Gen-Y is the only high-low adapter system that doesn't have...
