You've lifted your vehicle for off-roading fun - now make sure you have the best air bag fit and support for your suspension system. Use this extended axle-bracket kit to eliminate the extra space between your Firestone air springs and your lifted suspension. This kit gives you 2 inches of extended closure compared with a standard bracket. Get all the support you need - off road and on.
Kit is designed for use with the Toyota Tundra and Ford F-150 air spring kits. No drilling is required to install the system on these vehicles. This bracket extension kit will also work with any of Firestone's other air spring kits; however, drilling into the arm of the lower bracket will be required when it is used with those kits.

Use this extension system for lifted vehicles. The axle-bracket spacer kit bridges the gap between your air bags and your lifted suspension so that your air suspension system makes better contact and provides the support you need, when you need it.The added support pieces for my 2016 Tundra were installed to simply enhance the bottom airbag support platform in the case that I add heavier weights in the bed of my truck. Right now the bags are used to offset a few hundred Lbs of hitch weight when I tow a home made overland trailer. These brackets installed in minutes, 4 nut/bolt combo's per side....overall install time for the entire kit was about 2.5 hours.
Still had to modify a bit, but made it possible to accommodate the add-a-leaf kit on my lifted 2018 Tacoma. When I lifted my truck, I removed the OEM overload “leaf” and added an aftermarket 3 leaf "add-a-leaf” kit to the OEM leaf pack with a longer center pin to achieve ~1.5” of lift over stock. As a result, my leaf pack is slightly thicker than stock (i.e., too thick to for the drop leg on the Firestone bag kit to contact the axle tube, but too thin for the extension kit to bolt up without modification). Accordingly, I used a hole saw that approximated the diameter of my axle tube to shorten the extension (I clamped the bracket and used a drill press since the hole saw would only be partially engaged) to make sure that the extension bracket contacted the axle tube and distributed the load as intended (I also used a grinder to remove any sharp edges and repainted the brackets).
Excellent customer service, Items delivered on time.
I will definitely use e trailers for any future items needed. Thanks again.
