It mounts securely into OEM underbed pucks for a clean, solid connection that feels locked-in every time you hook up.
The interlocking two-piece jaw wraps completely around the king pin for 360-degree contact. That tight fit cuts down on rattle, chucking, and noise compared to slide-bar hitches. The fully articulating torsion head helps absorb road shock and keeps the tow smooth and stable over bumps or uneven pavement. The result is quieter, more confident towing that feels steady mile after mile.
You can see at a glance if the hitch is ready to uncouple, couple, or tow thanks to Curt’s built-in color-coded indicator—red means uncoupled, yellow means ready to couple, and green means locked for towing. It’s visible from the cab or beside the truck bed, so there’s no second guessing your connection before you roll out.
Installation is simple—just drop it into the four receiver pucks of your factory underbed rails. The single-pin head removal lets one person lift off the head fast when you want to clear the bed. Built-in zerk fittings make lubrication easy, and the included lube plate helps the king pin glide smoothly when hitching up. Adjustable height from 13" to 17" gives flexibility to level your setup for stable towing.
This fifth-wheel hitch is compatible with rotating pin boxes, such as the Reese Sidewinder, Reese Revolution, and 5th Airborne Sidewinder, only when used with a wedge (sold separately).
