This setup is built for serious towing with a gross towing weight rating of 20,000 lbs and a 5,000-lb vertical load limit. The fixed, double-jaw design gives full 360-degree contact around the king pin for a tight, secure grip. Paired with a wide-stance base and gray powder coated steel construction, it delivers the solid feel you want when hauling large campers or toy haulers down the highway.
You can feel how refined this hitch is once you’re rolling. The 1" thick dual jaws wrap completely around the king pin to cut down on rattle and movement, while the built-in polyurethane bushings absorb road bumps and vibration. That means less chucking between truck and trailer and a quieter, more comfortable tow even over uneven terrain.
The cam-action latch handle makes connecting and disconnecting easy. It’s designed to prevent binding, so even when you’re parked on an incline or uneven ground the jaws will release smoothly. A pin and clip keep the handle secured during travel, or you can use a padlock with a 5/16" diameter shackle for extra peace of mind.
This system uses the Turnoverball gooseneck hitch as its mounting base. When you’re done towing your fifth wheel, pull the Companion out and flip the gooseneck ball upside down in the same 4" diameter hole to leave your bed clear. The two-piece design makes removal straightforward, giving you back every inch of bed space for daily use.
The pivot arms can be mounted in different positions to fine-tune both height and cab clearance. With three height settings from 16-1/4" to 18-1/4" and up to 4" of front-to-back adjustment, it’s easy to dial in a level ride and balanced weight over your axle for stable towing on long hauls.
This fifth-wheel trailer hitch is not compatible with Sidewinder or Revolution king pins. Do not use any device that changes the pivot point of your trailer's king pin with this hitch.

On a custom fit part, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it will show you if this will work for your application.Now this rail kit will let you install your B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch to your Chevrolet or GMC truck. The gooseneck trailer hitch we do sell separately, it's part number BWGNRC800. That hitch is made to drop right in the middle of these rails and bolt to these holes right here. Now we do also sell the complete kit which will be this installation kit with that center gooseneck hitch and that's sold separately on our website, it's part number BWGNRK1000.
And again, that includes the installation kit with the gooseneck hitch all together.This parts are sturdy steel construction. They do have a nice powder coat finish to them, they'll resist corrosion. As I mentioned, they're custom fit for your vehicle. The weight capacity on this will be limited to that of your vehicle. It's a very simple installation with the included mounting hardware kit.
Nice set of detailed instructions on how it all goes together. There's no welding required and your truck bed does not have to be removed to install it. These parts are made in the USA. One year later and zero complaints. The hitch operates smoothly with no signs of wear. Still very pleased! My 5th wheel weighs in around 15,500lbs loaded and we even pull a golf cart trailer behind occasionally. I have no reservations using this hitch.

This is by far the best fifth wheel hitch I have ever used and I have used several. It’s very easy to hitch and unhitch and I don’t have to be perfectly lined up to hitch and unhitch. I highly recommend this product.
