Question:

I already have a BandW companion hitch but Im buying a Chevy 3500 that already has the factory gooseneck hitch installed. Will my BandW companion fifth wheel hitch work with the factory gooseneck hitch from GM?

That completely depends on what style of Companion hitch you have. If your Companion hitch was made for the 2020-2024 GMC/Chevy puck system such as the # BWRVK3710, you can easily transfer it to the new Chevy 3500, provided the truck has the OEM fifth wheel puck system (not just the gooseneck).

If your companion hitch was made to be used with the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch, like part # BWRVK3500-5W, it can only be used with the B&W Turnoverball hitch and it will not work with the GM factory gooseneck hitch.

If your new truck is equipped with the OEM gooseneck only, I am afraid there is no way to use a B&W Companion hitch, regardless of what model you have. If you need to pull a fifth wheel trailer the only option would be to use an adapter like the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100.

I have a question I have a 2015 Silverado 3500 dually it has a gooseneck hitch it's a Curtis would a BW base would fit on the gooseneck

@Jose No, it won't. I would need to know exactly what B&W hitch you are referring to in order to tell you what parts are needed to adapt it to your truck. If you mean the B&W companion hitch, this only works with the B&W Tunoverball gooseneck, or an OEM prep package. If you are talking about the B&W Patriot it works only with industry standard 5th wheel rails.
