I am planning to purchase this item and I wanted to know if I would be limited to only using a gooseneck trailer or if i can buy a 5th wheel hitch and use it with this under bed setup? Thanks. Hey David! The B&W Turnoverball # BW73FR does allow the installation of a 5th wheel hitch as well. That is one of the best things about this system. You will need the B&W Companion # BWRVK3500-5W or # BWRVK3400-5W (slider). Both install using the square hole on the Turnoverball.

Yes you can purchase a traditional 5th wheel hitch that has a square tube aiming down from the center of hitch and this will slide right into the slot where the gooseneck ball goes. You just have to pull the pin, remove the ball, slide in the 5th wheel hitch and re-pen it.

Ford F350. It does not have the factory 5th wheel prep.
