I found an online copy of the owners manual for the 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. According to the manual with the 4.7 liter engine, and 2-wheel drive the maximum gross trailer weight can be 7,600 pounds. The payload (the amount of weight the truck bed can hold) is 1,700 pounds.
That means that any 5th wheel trailer would have to weigh 7,600 pounds or less when loaded and ready to tow and have a pin weight of no more than 1,700 pounds.
