Hi Mike; I noticed you were looking at a B&W 5th wheel hitch. Is your gooseneck hitch the B&W Turnoverball? The hole for the ball would be square if it is. If so, you can use the B&W Companion # BWRVK3400-5W. However, this is a heavy sucker so not exactly the most manageable for one person.

The Andersen Aluminum Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection 2 Gooseneck # 3220 will also work (works with any brand gooseneck hitch). This hitch is incredibly light with the base at 35 lbs so that sounds more like what you're looking for.

What kind of 5th wheel do you have?

Hello Robin H. Mine is square; however, it was made by Hidden Hitch before they got absorbed by Draw Tite Ill keep looking thanks for your answer I just don't want the whole frame cradle attachment. Thanks, Agin Mike

@MikeN if you don't want anything in the bed like that you could use an adapter that bolts onto your king pin like the # CAB-C5GX1216. This has a 7-1/2" offset and will attach directly to the gooseneck ball. We also have the Ranch Hitch # AM3139 with an 8" offset.

@RobinH Hey again ya the CAB-C%GX1216 looks like a good answer . One question do you have to drill the 5TH wheel to use it or does it lock around the puck?

@MikeN since it is the offset version you will have to drill 1/2" holes to bolt on the hitch plate for installation. It cannot handle the force if you don't install it this way.
