Comparing MORryde AllTrek and SRE4000 Premium Rubber Suspension Equalizers
Question:
What is the difference between the MorRyde Alltrek 4000, and the MorRyde SRE4000 other than the SRE4000 requires the associated cross member. Are the equalizers just as robust, and provide the same capability. I have seen concerns stated about the failure of the SRE4000. 2022 Alliance Avenue 32RLS

The MORryde AllTrek 4000 Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR29DR are the new upgrade to their counterpart - the MORryde Premium Rubber Suspension Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers MR47ZR.
According to MORryde, the AllTrek has been through more intense testing than any of their other equalizer systems and since it doesn't have to have the crossmember that's just an added bonus. Unless you like the idea of having that extra crossmember, I recommend going with the AllTrek.

I have run the SRE4000 for 11yrs now... and I am switching to the AllTrek. Here is why. --- The biggest difference is that with the SRE4000 the rubber spring is attached to the hanger and then surrounded by the housing of the SRE4000. Thus the weight pulls against the rubber and even while in a static setting is pulling against the attach points. The causes the rubber to eventually tear. While that initial tear isn't cause for concern, that tear will deepen eventually mandating replacement. To that end, I have replaced the SRE4000 twice in 11 years. In essence, it is a designed - purposeful - failure. --- The AllTek system still used a rubber spring, but unlike the SRE4000, the AllTek uses that spring in a compression manner as opposed to a pulling manner - like the CRE3000. This should result in a longer spring life - thus extending the lifecycle of the product itself. In addition, the AllTek is rated for a higher weight capacity than the SRE4000 system.
