MORyde Cushioned Equalizer that Fits 2017 Jayco Jayflight 212QB

Updated 09/15/2024 | Published 08/16/2024

Question:

Hi…I have a 2017 jayco jayflight 212qb trailer and want to upgrade the suspension. My current equalizer measures abit over 6” center spring eye bolt to other spring bolt horizontally and 4” from top bolt down to center of the spring bolts vertically. It looked like the moryde 4000 one was a good fit over the Roadarmor one to me …also have the 2and1/4” shackles so I think the moryde kit wet bolts with the 2and1/4 wet bolts and shackles is what I would use?My axles are tandem with 33” space center to center and the leaf springs measure 26and1/4” center to center eye bolt to eyebolt for length…please let me know if the road armor or the moryde kit is better for me and which wet bolt kit is the right fit…thanks,Mike

Hey Mike, since your wheelbase is 33 inches the correct MORryde Alltrek is the part # MR89DR. The distance between the bolt holes left to right is 6-1/2 inches which is close enough to what you have and the vertical dimension is 4-1/2 inches which is also close enough.

The correct shackle kit would be the part # MR46ZR which is 2-1/4 inch like you mentioned as well.

Thanks Jameson So I wouldn’t need to go with the 3&1/8” shackles to make up for the extra 1/2” additional height on the new equalizer? Or ,like you said”It’s close enough “? And just stay with the 2& 1/4 I already have. Mike

@Mike it's close enough I would stick with the 2-1/4 inch length.
