Best Equalizer Suspension Upgrade Recommendation for 2023 Grand Design Imagine 2760MK
Updated 05/14/2024 | Published 05/07/2024 >
Question:
I want to upgrade the suspension on my 2023 Grand Design Imagine 2760MK. I assume: CRE3000 with new shackles and wet bolts. Question one: Is this the best for my rig? Question two: can you recommend part / kit numbers that will fit my trailer? Questions three / four: Should I also install Sumo Springs, and if so, which model number? Thank you.

The CRE3000 is a great kit but I would need to verify the axle capacity of your trailer as well as the distance between your axle centers to recommend what would be your best option.

Jameson C 1) It appears that I have 4,400 lbs. axels, and since there are two of them, it is an 8,800 lbs. total capacity trailer. 2) As best as I can tell, just using my tape measure, it is 36" from the center of one axel (hub) to the center of the other axel (hub). 3) I'm not locked in on the CRE3000 (I kinda like the design of the Dexter equalizers, but I here they are only for heavier trailers), that's part of my question: I know it's popular, but is the CRE3000 the right/best choice for my trailer, or should I be getting something else? Thank you again.
