Sway Bar Compatibility With Straight Tongue Trailer
Question:
I have A 14ft single axle ATV trailer and the truck pulling it gets squirrelly over 55. Will this work on this type of trailer being that it’s not an A frame set up in the front?

The Curt Friction Sway Control for Weight Distribution Systems # 17200 cannot be used on a straight tongue trailer. Your best option would be to use a weight distribution system pole tongue adapter and then a weight distribution system with integrated sway control.
I recommend the Pole-Tongue Adapter for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems # EQ95-01-5950 and then the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion # FA92-00-0800 which is rated for total tongue weight up to 800 lbs. For this, you will also need hitch ball # EQ91-00-6080 for a 2 inch diameter and a thin walled socket like # ALL643216.
