And then we will also want to remove the bolt at the more forward side as well.

  • Best Hitch and Wheel Chair Carrier Recommendation for a 2014 Nissan Rogue
  • The first thing you will need for your 2014 Nissan Rogue will be a hitch if you don't have one already. For that I would recommend the Curt Hitch part # C13168 since it has the highest tongue weight rating of all of the hitches for your vehicle at 350 lbs. You shouldn't need to figure in your weight into the capacity unless you plan to ride the scooter up onto the carrier. Which I wouldn't recommend you do. Instead I would recommend the Trailer Hitch Mounted Scooter / Wheelchair Carrier...

  • Availability of Hitch for 2010 Nissan Rogue Krom Edition
  • None of the hitch manufacturers we represent have a hitch that will work with the Rogue Krom edition, due to the way the exhaust exits the rear of the vehicle. The twin exhaust outlets sit in the center of the bumper fascia, right where the receiver opening would be. Designing a hitch to sit under the exhaust outlets would not work well, as it would severely compromise the vehicle ground clearance. (See the photo I've edited for you.) If you were wanting the hitch to provide a mounting...

  • Can 2010 Nissan Rogue With Hidden Hitch Class III Hitch # HH87663 Tow Small Utility Trailer
  • The Hidden Hitch Class III, part # HH87663 you mentioned has a 3500 lb towing, 350 lb tongue weight (the maximum amount of weight that can safely be suspended from the hitch) capacity. However, these capacities will be limited by the actual towing capacity of the Rouge, which is lower. I did some online research, and found that the 2010 Nissan Rogue with the CVT transmission with the manual shift mode is capable of towing up to 1500 lbs, and non-manual shift mode equipped models are limited...

  • Recommended 2 Bike Hitch Mounted Bike Rack for 2013 Nissan Rouge
  • To see the various 2 bike racks that are compatible with the 2 inch receiver on your Rouge, click the provided link. The Swagman Trailhead, part # S63360 is a good lower-cost rack that has what I consider to be essential features like anti-sway cradles that prevent the bikes from swinging back and forth during transport and sturdy rubber straps that hold the bikes to the rack. An optional locking anti-rattle hitch pin and cable lock, part # S64031 is also available. The Thule Helium...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation and Bike Compatibility with a 2012 Nissan Rogue
  • Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite are sister companies. The Hidden Hitch # HH87663 and Draw-Tite # 75902 are basically the same. The design, appearance, build quality, finish, install method and weight capacities are identical. Both hitch crossbars are constructed of square-tube steel. The installation instructions and video that I have attached will apply to both hitches on your 2012 Nissan Rogue. I would recommend going with the Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch, # HH87663, because it will be more...

  • Will Class III Receiver HH87663 for a 2009 Nissan Rogue also Fit the 2011 Model
  • The Hidden Hitch Receiver you referenced, part # HH87663 will fit a 2011 Nissan Rouge with the exception of the Krom model. The Krom model has a different exhaust and rear fascia that would interfere with the placement of the hitch. To see the install instructions for this receiver, click on the provided link.

  • Recommendation For Trailer Hitch On 2011 Nissan Rogue To Use Thule Helium Aero 2 Bike Carrier
  • I would recommend the Hidden Hitch Class III 2 Inch Hitch, part # HH87663, for your 2011 Nissan Rogue SV. This is a 2 inch hitch with a towing weight capacity of 3,500 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 300 lbs. The 2 inch size hitch is the most common. The Curt Class II 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, part # C12122, you have referenced is a 1-1/4 inch Class II hitch. The 1-1/4 inch size will limit your choices of hitch accessories and if in the future you decide to tow something, the 2 inch size...

  • Will Curt Class II Trailer Hitch 12247 Fit a Nissan Rogue With a Decorative Splash Panel
  • I do not show that any fascia cutting or trimming would be required to install the hitch on the 2008 through 2010 Nissan Rogue models, but I went down to the warehouse and measured the hitch so that you could compare it to your current setup. The # 12247 hitch bolts to the underside of your vehicle frame. From the top of the hitch arms, or the parts of the hitch that bolt to the frame, to the top of the hitch opening is right around 5-1/2 inches. The hitch opening would need to sit...
