What our customers are saying:

I purchased one of your hitches for my SAAB 9-5. The hitch fits my car perfectly and is barely visible, which maintains the sporty look of my car. The hitch is a top quality product that I would definitely recommend to my friends. I was really impressed by your website and various installation videos. They were extremely helpful. My only suggestion to you would be to include a few bolt leaders with every installation package. I didnt realize I had to order them separately until after the hitch was delivered and I had started the installation. Thank you for a great product!

And then we will also want to remove the bolt at the more forward side as well.

Nissan Rogue Trailer Hitch Questions and Answers

  • Clearance from Center of Trailer Hitch Pin Hole to Bumper on 2014 Nissan Rogue
  • I can tell you how to determine the bumper clearance measurement but we have not yet taken that measurement here. What you can do is use the instructions that I have linked to find the rear most attachment point of the hitch on the vehicle. (The hole furthest back on the vehicle.) Measure from the center of that point straight back 6-1/8 inches. This is approximately where the center of the hitch pin hole will be. Then measure from that point straight back to the distance needed to clear the

  • 2 Inch Curt Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 Nissan Rogue
  • Curt recommends the use of the stabilizer strap like part # 18050 with all of their 1-1/4 in hitches and some of the 2 inch hitches, but not the 2 inch hitch available for your 2014 Nissan Rogue. The Curt Hitch part # C13168 that you referenced would be a great hitch for you since you would rather not use a stabilizer strap, and because a 2 inch hitch has more capacity and has more options for hitch accessories than a 1-1/4 inch hitch. This hitch should do very well carrying a 2 bike rack

  • Are Underbody Panels Required to be Removed to Install the Curt Hitch # C13168
  • You would not be able to tell that the underbody panels have been removed on your 2014 Nissan Rouge unless you were under the vehicle. There are two pieces that will need to be removed. Check out the picture I attached to see the two pieces that get removed. All the necessary hardware to install this hitch is included. I also attached a link to installation instructions for you to check out also.

  • Can a Class III Trailer Hitch with 2 Inch Receiver be Installed on a 2010 Nissan Rogue
  • You can install a Class III trailer hitch on your 2010 Nissan Rogue as long as you stay within the capacities listed in the owners manual. Typically a Class I trailer hitch is rated up to 200 pounds tongue weight so if that is what the owners manual states is the limit then that is what you must go by even if a hitch is rated higher. The combined weight of the cargo carrier and its contents cannot exceed the tongue weight capacity of the hitch or vehicle, whichever is lower. The most popular

  • Exhaust Hanger on 2011 Nissan Rogue Interferes with Trailer Hitch Installation
  • You should be able to bend the exhaust hanger a little bit to allow the hitch to fit easily on the vehicle. The installation instructions state that lower the exhaust will make installation easier. If you remove the exhaust from the rubber hanger, using a strap of some kind to support the exhaust some, put the hitch in place and then put the exhaust back up on the hanger it might not interfere at all. If it still does then bending the hanger some is perfectly fine and will not hurt anything.

  • Availability of Hitch for 2010 Nissan Rogue Krom Edition
  • None of the hitch manufacturers we represent have a hitch that will work with the Rogue Krom edition, due to the way the exhaust exits the rear of the vehicle. The twin exhaust outlets sit in the center of the bumper fascia, right where the receiver opening would be. Designing a hitch to sit under the exhaust outlets would not work well, as it would severely compromise the vehicle ground clearance. • Can 2010 Nissan Rogue With Hidden Hitch Class III Hitch # 87457 Tow Small Utility Trailer
  • The Hidden Hitch Class III, part # 87457 you mentioned has a 3500 lb towing, 350 lb tongue weight (the maximum amount of weight that can safely be suspended from the hitch) capacity. However, these capacities will be limited by the actual towing capacity of the Rouge, which is lower. I did some online research, and found that the 2010 Nissan Rogue with the CVT transmission with the manual shift mode is capable of towing up to 1500 lbs, and non-manual shift mode equipped models are limited to 100

  • Troubleshooting Exhaust Hanger Interference for Installing Curt Hitch on a 2010 Nissan Rogue
  • There should not be any interference with the exhaust brackets to install the Curt Hitch # 13185 on your 2010 Nissan Rogue. If you check out the picture I attached you will see how it should bolt up in relation to the exhaust hanger brackets. Since there are several possible holes on your vehicle that you could be trying to install the mounting hardware of the hitch onto, my first thought is that maybe you are not using the correct holes. • Trailer Hitch and Bike Compatibility with a 2012 Nissan Rogue
  • Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite are sister companies. The Hidden Hitch # 87457 and Draw-Tite # 75606 are essentially identical. The design, appearance, build quality, finish, install method and weight capacities are identical. Both hitch crossbars are constructed of square-tube steel. The installation instructions and video that I have attached will apply to both hitches on your 2012 Nissan Rogue.
