Longview Towing Mirrors Review - 2008 GMC Sierra

Today on this 2008 GMC Sierra we are going to install part number CTM1600. We have got the parts laid out in order of assembly we just have it enough for the one side of the truck. The part number does come with two sets of mirrors and hardware. We have got our mirror and we are going to set it face down for now so this is facing the front of the vehicle. We will take this part that has a hook that has a round flat part. We are going to put it through the top and it is going to sit inside like that. Then take this angle part and that will slide on just like this and then take the knob and thread it on about 1/ 2 inch of thread. Set it up just like that. 00:47
CIPA Custom Towing Mirror Installation - 2004 Chevy Suburban

Today on this 2004 Chevrolet Suburban, we are going to install part number 10801 from CIPA. OK, you can see how the CIPA mirror will wrap around the factory mirror. And it just basically slides into place. However, there is a wedge that gets installed in this track right here and on the other side there is a knob that holds everything in place. This is the wedge that gets installed in between the CIPA mirror and the factory mirror. You also get this felt tape right here, to cover it up so it protects the finish on your factory mirror. So, basically this is a big sticker. We will just apply it to it. 0:44
K Source Towing Mirrors Installation - 2004 Chevrolet Suburban

Today on this 2004 Chevrolet Suburban we are going to install some towing mirrors part number KS80800 from. These mirrors are a snap to put on literally because that is how they mount to the vehicle. Basically this mirror will wrap around the factory mirror itself and it has some foam tape in here to kind of cushion it and help take up some of the gap. It is pretty simple, take these two hooks on top and line it up with the edge of the mirror and pull on the bottom of the edge a little bit and pull it down and around and there is one on the side also. The bottom edge snaps over here. 00:39
CIPA Extendable Towing Mirror Installation - 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500

Today on this 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck we are going to install part number 73600 from CIPA. This is their extendable trailer towing mirror. To begin our install the first thing we need is roll down the window itself. Then we have to start removing the inside trim panel. There are a few fasteners but it will not be too bad to do. We will work our way from top to bottom on this. We are going to start off with this screw right here and work our way down. The next thing we need to do is remove this panel. This will just come out for now and we are going to take our trim panel removal tool and go underneath the edge and pry it up. 00:37
Longview Towing Mirrors Installation - 2006 Ford F-150

Today on this 2006 Ford F-150 we will be installing the Longview adjustable towing mirror part number CTM2300-A. The longview towing mirrors are very easy to use and only take a few seconds to install. To install what you need to do is slide the mirror over our existing mirror until it is fully seated. You will see here on the vehicle side we have got a hole. We are going to be using this clip that is provided and all we need to do is take the hook end of the clip and hook it on to the inside of the mirror to where the thread is faced towards the hole in the back side and then we will just take the thumb screw, feed it through the hole and thread it on to the clip. 00:37
