Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2017 Nissan Sentra

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Nissan Sentra, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero 2500 Series roof rack system. We're going to be using part numbers RRVA118B-2 for the 46-inch long aluminum black crossbars. Those are also available in silver with part number RRVA118S-2. We're also going to be using part number RRRLKVA. For the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series legs, and finally, part number DK369, for the Rhino-Rack custom fit kit. This Rhino-Rack roof rack system is going to allow you to carry roof mount accessories on your Nissan Sentra things like bike racks, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, kayak carriers and more.The crossbars are 46 inches long.



Rhino-Rack Euro Square Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2012 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack with Euro Square Bars 49 Inches Long in Black, part number ds126b also using part number dk172. We have our roof rack already assembled according to the instructions so we're ready to place it on top of our roof. We'll place the front half of our roof rack system onto our Sentra.To make sure we have it in the right location we need to measure 250 millimeters from the door jamb of the front door and the rear door to the center of our foot pack. We need to do this on both the driver and passenger side of the vehicle. Once we have it in the correct location we can then use the Allen key tool to tighten down each foot. We'll make our way back and forth from driver side to passenger side as we tighten to make sure we get the best fit and that we do not lose position.Once we have this crossbar secured we can then open the rear doors, place our bar on top of the roof.



Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2012 Nissan Sentra well be test fitting the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack with heavy duty square bars 50 inches long, part number dh1250s, and also using part number dk172. Our roof rack system is already assembled according to the instructions. Well place half of our roof rack system onto the front part of our roof. To ensure that we have it in the right location, we need to measure 250 millimeters from the door jamb of the front and rear door to the center of our foot pack. Well do this on both sides of the vehicle. Once we have it in the correct location we can then use the Allen key to secure it into position.



Rhino-Rack Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Nissan Sentra

Today on this 2012 Nissan Sentra, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack using part numbers DA126B and DK172. We already have the crossbar assemblies put together, so now we're ready to mount them onto the vehicle. The first thing we need to do is open both the front doors. To position our front bar, we need to measure 250 millimeters from the center of the door gap between the front and rear door. Once we have our position set, we can go ahead and tighten on the front crossbar assembly. We want to be sure we do the measurement on both sides of the vehicle and that we move back and forth from passenger side to driver side as we tighten. This helps us tighten down the system evenly, and helps us make sure that we do not lose our position. With the front bar tightened down, we're ready to move on to the rear.



Rhino-Rack Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Nissan Sentra

Today, on our 2012 Nissan Sentra, we will be test fitting the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack with Aero Crossbars 50 inches long and silver, part number DA-126, also using part number DK 172. Our roof rack system has already been assembled, according to the instructions. We will begin the test fit by opening both doors at the front of the vehicle. We will set our crossbar onto the front part of our Sentra. To ensure that we have it in the right location, we need to measure 250 mm from the door jams of the rear door and the front door to the center of our foot pack. We will do this on both sides.

Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Forklift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number y02098. To install our carrier, we'll begin by placing it on top of our crossbars. We'll open up the clamp at the head of the bike rack and fit it around our front crossbar and then we'll tighten it down with the T-bolt and wing nut. After its tightened down we can go ahead and slide the cover back into place and we can reinstall our skewer. At the back we'll need to slide the clamp over our rear crossbar and again we'll tighten it down with a T-bolt and wing nut. Now we're ready to load our bike.



Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the Thule Domestique Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number th513. To begin our test fit, we'll sit the head of the bike carrier on top of our front crossbar. We'll fit the clamp around and tighten it down with the included Allen wrench. At the rear of the bike rack we'll position the clamp over the rear crossbar and again use the included Allen key to tighten it down. With our bike rack secured to the roof rack we can go ahead and replace our skewer. We'll make sure that the wheel strap is open and then we'll be ready to mount our bike.



Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test rating the Swagman Fork-Style Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number s64710. We'll place the bike rack up on top of our crossbars. At the front, we'll fit the two U-bolts around the cross bars and use the wing nuts to secure the front of the bike rack. Next we'll move to the back of the bike carrier. We'll fit the U-bolt through the carrier from the top this time. We'll take the clamp and two wing nuts to clamp around the bar from the bottom.



RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number rky1014. We'll go ahead and lift up the bike carrier and sat it on top of our crossbars. We'll feed the straps at the head of the carrier around our front bar and lock them back into the head and use an Allen key to tighten them down. At the back we use the clamp and tighten down with an Allen wrench as well. Once we've done that we're ready to load up our bike. We'll pick the bike up, place the rear wheel into the wheel tray and drop the front fork down into our skewer.



RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number rky1011. Now with our roof rack system already assembled and installed on the vehicle we'll sat the carrier onto the crossbars. It's important that the carrier is perpendicular to the crossbars and parallel to the vehicle to ensure that the brackets have a proper fit onto the crossbars. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the front crossbar and hook them into position. We'll then move to the rear of the carrier. This is where we'll loosen up the bracket, swing it around the underside of the rear crossbar and use the included Allen key to tighten it down.



RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Nissan Sentra

Alright, today on this 2012 Nissan Sentra we're going to do a test fit of RockyMounts TieRod Bicycle Rack, part number RKY1014. Ok, now our Sentra has already been equipped with a roof rack using the elliptical bars so all you do is place our bike rack on top of it. Let's start off by setting the front part of the bike rack on top of the front crossbar and make sure that the straps go underneath and around to the clips on the front of the bike rack. Then we'll go ahead and raise up the back half and align the clamp up with the back bar. With the bike rack loosely attached, we'll go ahead and move around to the spot we want and then we'll go ahead and tighten it down. We'll go ahead and tighten down the hardware for the back bar and then we'll go ahead and use a 6mm Allen key to tighten down the front clamp.

Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra will be test within the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo box with 13 cubic feet of space, glossy blackened color, part number TH634B. With the Thule rapid reverse rack system settle onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We can then turn the knobs to put in the clamps up around tightly against the bars. You'll notice when the clamps have been fully tightened down when the knobs start to make a clicking sound. We can then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Now this double sided opening lid will also enable you to use to load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle.



Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large rooftop cargo box, with 16 cubic feet of space, mat black in color, part number TH615. With a Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin out test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. When positioning the box on the vehicle, it does only open from one side, so you'll need to position it on the passenger side of your vehicle. We can then unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the 4 slots in the bottom of the box. We can take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over top of each bar, and turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps up against the front and rear bar. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, that will complete today's test fit for the Thule Pulse Large rooftop cargo box, with 16 cubic feet of space, mat black in color, part number TH615, on our 2008 Nissan sentra.



Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we'll be test fitting the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 21 cubit feet of space. AeroSkin black in color. Part number TH626. With a Thule Rack Traverse Roof Rack System inaudible 00:13 to our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. At their positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We can then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against each bar. Then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process.



Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2012 Nissan Sentra we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box, 11 cubic feet in matte black, part number th613. With our roof rack system already installed onto our vehicle, we'll place our carrier directly onto our crossbars. We'll open our carrier and feed the clamps through the slots making sure that the feet of the clamps go around our crossbars. In order to get this box to fit onto this vehicle, we had to remove the antenna at the rear of the vehicle by unscrewing it. Now with our box situated the way we like, we can then use the hand knobs on the clamps to tighten each clamp into position. With the clamps tight, our box is secured to our vehicle and we're ready to start loading up our accessories.



Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2012 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2012 Nissan Sentra we'll be test fitting the Thule Mother-of-All Baskets Rooftop Cargo Carrier, part number th690xt. With our roof rack system already installed onto our vehicle, we'll begin by placing our carrier onto the roof rack system. We'll swing the clamps around to make sure that each clamp goes under the crossbar. We'll feed the bolt through and tighten with the wing nut. To install this product, well begin by placing it on top of our crossbars. Then we can go ahead and open it up and push our clamps through the slots making sure they go around each crossbar. Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium Roof Top Cargo Box, part number th614. To install the carrier all we need to do is go ahead and place our cargo box on top of our crossbars and you'll notice that we already had our clamps opened up. This makes it easier when installing our cargo box to our crossbars. We'll allow them to go inside over our crossbars, we'll open the lid and we'll tighten down the four gray knobs securing our cargo box to our vehicle. Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the Thule Mother of All Baskets Roof Top Cargo Carrier, part number th690xt. It's good to go ahead and pre-measure how far your crossbars on your vehicle are away from each other that way you can preset the brackets on the cargo carrier. To load our cargo basket we'll simply place it on top of our crossbars, lining up the security clamps with our load bars. Once we have the clamps around our load bars we can go ahead and thread through the bolt and tighten it with a wing nut. We repeat that process for all the clamps. Once we have all of our clamps tightened down we can then put on the covers that go over each clamp.



SportRack Aero Roof Cargo Box Installation - 2012 Nissan Sentra

Today on this 2012 Nissan Sentra we're going to do a test fit of SportRack's Luggage Carrier, part number A902765. Now our vehicle has already been equipped with the roof rack using the elliptical bars so all I've got to do is put our SportRack Carrier on the roof rack. We'll pull the carrier to one side to make it a little easier to install the hardware and then we'll go ahead and slide it to its final position. Next we can go ahead and install our hardware. First off, we'll take the thick plate and put it between the roof rack and the carrier. Our U bolt we'll install it from the bottom up, then the small plate will go on top of the U bolt and then the handle nuts.

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2008 Nissan Sentra

Today on our 2008 Nissan Sentra we're going to be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier, part number th810. To do this we'll take half of the carrier and set it up on top of the front crossbar. We'll feed the spring link straps around the crossbar and back into the heads. Then we can use the hand notch to tighten down each strap. Next we'll take the second half of the carrier and place it on top of the rear crossbar. We do want to make sure that the rear half lines up nicely with the front half.
