Where is the Grommet in a 2011 Toyota RAV4 Used for Routing Power Wire to Vehicle Battery
Updated 11/24/2014 | Published 11/22/2014 >
Question:
Cant seem to find small gromit for exiting rear compartment with black wire to be run all the way to the battery. Shown about 5 minutes into installation video. Also where would the flat connector and trailer wiring exit for fastening to provided fixture hose clamped to hitch?

I attached a picture that I took from the install video you referenced (also attached), that shows where the rubber grommet will be located in the compartment of your 2011 Toyota RAV4. It's hard to see in the video, but its at the very bottom of the compartment.
When not in use the harness will store in the interior of your vehicle, and then when towing you would just need to pull the 4-way out of the hatch, connect it to your vehicle, and then shut the hatch on the wiring. The soft weather stripping won't damage the wiring.
I also attached an FAQ on routing the power wire for trailer harnesses like yours.
