Published 11/21/2014

Question:

I have a small slide-in for my 2008 ranger. Will these stake pocket brackets work?

If your Ranger has the 6 foot bed, with no running board or step under the truck bed and an factory equipped hitch with a crosstube that's open on the sides or an aftermarket hitch with side plates that measure LARGER than 4 x 4 inches, the Torklift # TLF2013 for the front and # TLR3500 for the rear would be the tie-downs you'd need.

For turnbuckles, I'd recommend # TLS9000 which are sold in pairs. You'd need two pairs.

The CR Brophy tie-downs are all meant for full-sized, domestic pickups per the manufacturer, so unfortunately, they won't work on your truck.
