Question:

please assist me in determining which BW kit is correct for my 2010 mega cab 2500. it has the six foot bed.

I'd be happy to help you with that. The B&W Gooseneck Hitch you referenced, part # BWGNRK1313 does fit a 2010 Ram 2500, but it is NOT compatible with the Mega Cab model.

You'll want to use the # BWGNRK1308 which IS compatible with Mega Cab models, regardless whether they have Gas or Diesel engines. If you don't have a trailer connector installed in your truck bed, you can install one using part # 41157.

i am installing a b&w in my 2010 dodge 2500 with a 6ft bed.. what is the measurement from the edge of bed to center of 4 inch hole

For your 2010 Ram 2500 with 6-1/2 foot bed, you will want the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck # BWGNRK1313. The installation instructions for this kit show the center of the 4 inch hole when measuring from the rear of the truck bed (not the tail gate but the ledge at the rear between the bed and the gate) is 45-1/2 inches. You then just need to center the hole side to side at that location. You can see this on page 2 of the attached installation instructions.
