Question:
Hi, I am looking for a 2” hitch exclusively for bike rack use rack already owned on a 2014 Toyota Yaris. This is looking difficult to obtain. Do you have a suggestion for a hitch that odd 2” that might actually fit a Yaris? Thanks!

Hey Craig,
The only hitch available for your 2014 Toyota Yaris is the 1-1/4" Curt # C11480, so there isn't a direct 2" hitch option.
The easiest solution would be to use a bike rack that fits the 1-1/4" receiver directly. For example, the Hollywood Racks Destination # HLY94FR fits 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, so you could use it without an adapter.
If you want to keep using your current 2" bike rack, you can use the adapter # e43YR, but the adapter reduces the hitch's 200 lb tongue weight capacity by 50%, leaving you with 100 lbs total for the bike rack and bikes combined.
So as long as your existing rack is lightweight enough that the rack plus the bikes stays under 100 lbs, that setup can still work. You'll also want to confirm the Yaris itself is rated for that amount of tongue weight.
Which bike rack do you currently have?
