Will The SnapRing TireSavers RV Tire Covers ST7005BK Fit 295/75R22.5 149/146L Tires?

Question:

I have a Renegade Verona with 295/75R22.5 149/146L tires, on a Freighliner M2-106 Chassis, Dually tires in the back. Can this cover be attached to the outside tires on the rear sets?

Welcome back, Joe!

The SnapRing TireSavers RV Tire Covers for 40" to 42" Tires - Single Axle - Black - Qty 2 # ST7005BK will definitely fit the 295/75R22.5 149/146L tires you have on your Freightliner M2-106 Chassis. From what I could find, the overall diameter for that tires size will be 39.9" at the absolute smallest, to 41.2" at the largest (there will always be some variation between manufacturers and tread patterns). That said, even if you have the 39.9" diameter tires, I don't foresee any issues with these covers. The snap ring in these will keep them nice and tight on the tires. ^___^

Is there a motorhome on your chassis? Or did you build something on it?

Thanks - I did look at the video after I posed the question, and see that the snap ring should allow for the cover to securely wrap around the outside tire of each pair. I don’t plan to cover the inside tire since it is not in direct sun, and doesn’t get the buildup of snow like the outside tires do. Renegade Verona is in fact a production model of motorhome.

@JoeL Oh duh. I may have forgotten that was in your question when I was typing up my answer. Oops. ^___^

They work well with my 2026 Renegade XL (Freightliner M126 Cascadia). Easy to install. Stores flat. Built well. All good.

I purchased these for a Tiffin Phaeton with the same size tires and duals in the rear, they fit and work perfectly on the rear duals and are easy to install and remove.
