Question:

Good day. I have a 2024:ram 1500 tradesman. 11000+ tow. 1623 payloadlow. Trailer: 2020 Coleman 2715rl. Gvwr 9600. Tongue: 745 NEVER fully loaded over 7600. What 4point weight distribution system would work? Thank you

Hey Kevin, welcome back! Thank you for all of the details on your towing setup. Based on all of that the best option for a 4 point weight distribution system that will work great is the Equal-i-zer part # EQ37100ET. The Equalizer brand is basically the gold standard for weight distribution systems and the one that started it all and the rest have tried to copy because of how well it works and how reliable it is. It also has the 4 points of sway control like you are wanting as well. Have you used weight distribution before?

Thank you very much. I wasn't sure if I needed a larger weight capacity like a 12000 or 14000. You guys are always helpful with identifying the correct product when I have needed it Thanks again Kevin

I have the 10k Equalizer for my 10k equipment trailer. My 2021 F150 Powerboost V6 with the Equalizer makes towing my 6K tractor plus implements up and down the mountain roads of North GA a lot more controlled. What is best I think is that it has a lot of adjustment between the hitch head and the lift/sway bars. A ton of support for your particular load setup. Because of the WDH, the other parts of the equation work properly like the brakes shifting etc. Just the right amount of squat and towing roughly 9600lbs, I needed the real deal. Quite satisfied with it.
