Question:
Just bought a tow hitch skid/recovery point for my 2022 Toyota 4runner and was looking for recommendations on a locking/anti rattle pin. Believe it is a 2in opening. Will something that I’ve seen with o-rings be enough to make it anti rattle, or would a more specific one you guys sell work well? No threads on the tow hitch skid/ made by torq engineering. Thank you

Hey Kyle! Since the Torq Engineering recovery point doesn't have a threaded or hollow shank, you won't be able to use a typical locking anti-rattle hitch pin. I also wouldn't rely on O-rings to eliminate much movement.
For your 2022 4Runner I recommend the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer # BX88224 along with the Weigh Safe Hitch Receiver Lock # WS54CR. The Blue Ox wedges between the recovery point and inside of the receiver to eliminate the play, so it won't have the same fitment concerns you can run into with anti-rattle collars on the thicker Toyota receiver.
The # WS54CR is stainless steel so you don't have to worry about corrosion. It also has a 3-7/16" span, so it is long enough for the wider double walled Toyota receivers.
Are you planning to leave the recovery point installed all the time?
