I have read through the questions and answers, but am still not clear which front mount receiver will fit my 2026 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali diesel, and how much will the hitch for my truck weigh? Thank you

Hey Dave, thanks for reaching out. We do have a front hitch for your 2026 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali Diesel. Here is what you'll need:

- EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # EH57FR

I double checked with EcoHitch and they confirm this to fit the 2026 GMC/Chevy 3500, and fitment includes the Diesel models. You will have to do some trimming of the bumper fascia to get it to fit, but other than that it will bolt right on using the included hardware.

The hitch itself weighs approximately 52 lbs.

Fit is very good. I put it on my 2022 dually. If you take your time with the installation it looks like original equipment. Weight is negligible for suspension of truck

I have a frt hitch mounted on a 2024 2500HD duramax. Had a slide in camper so space was limited. I’ve carried 4500 generator with a grill and misc no problem. This is my 3d frt hitch very handy. Carried two bikes on the front as well

I installed this front hitch on my 21 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD. I have a truck camper so a bike rack on the rear would make it hard to get in and out of the camper. So I installed this front hitch for a bike rack to carry two full size E-bikes. The 1000lbs weight rating was the reason for choosing this hitch. On my last Ford Superduty/truck camper combo, the 500 lbs rated front hitch ended up breaking due to the weight of the bikes and the distance of the bike rack from the hitch bouncing up and down as you hit bumps in the road. I just finished a 4000 miles western US trip and the hitch held up great. The only improvement I did during the trip was to get an extension to lower the bikes 6” to get them out of my line of sight.

The picture Jesse M. provided looks the same as my installation on a '26 Silverado 3500 diesel. Had it installed by a preferred ETrailer installer. They did a great job. Looks OEM and is barely noticeable. To be honest have not used it yet as I need to get a riser receiver to bring the ball to the height of the rear hitch. Once obtained I look to use it to move our camper into its winter storage spot with ease. Really appreciate it has a tongue weight capacity of 1000lbs. Make sure you check with your dealer that your front suspension is setup to take that load. I have the towing/plowing packages installed on my truck.

@ChrisD Nice! Glad to hear you are liking your front hitch so far. Thanks for sharing! If you are in need of a rise ball mount for moving your camper, the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers # 325-GH-513 is what I recommend. It is 16K rated and gives you 5" of rise or drop. They are super solid ball mounts so it'll handle pushing or pulling your camper with ease. Also, they are available with more rise if needed.
